  • Olorunfunmi Adebanjo Osiga, is a native of Ijebu-Ode born in 1898. The founder/leader of Ijo Orunmila Adulawo World-wide, attended Ijebu-Ode Grammar School, Ijebu-Ode in 1916 and later joined the Dept. of Postal & Telegraph, where he was trained as the mechanic & driver and eventually rose up to the post of Transport Officer in the then British-Nigeria Colonial civil service.
Osiga's interest and total commitment to the practice of Ifa, as well as becoming an unrepentant advocate of Orunmila (the messenger of Olodumare) which encouraged his founding of the Ijo Orunmila Adulawo in 1934, was traced to his maternal pedigree as 'a-tun'fa-to-bi-ileke' including the event of his own era, where a particular African country, bloodily resisted and won the war against a foreign colonial and religious dominations in 1932.
