My son was born on December 18th, so I don't decorate for Christmas until after his birthday, so this is early for me. I do get a wreath before that, but nothing inside. He's 38 now, but I remember all the stories from folks with December birthdays that complained about not having a "real birthday," so my husband & I vowed that he would always have a birthday.

Wonderful ideas! But, IMHO your SMARTEST and most GENIUS idea is that finger protector on your index finger when using hot glue. OMG! I could have used that idea YEARS AGO! Thank you! Hugs and Blessings.
I made the plastic bowls and they are fabulous. And thing I learned is that when you use metallic paint you can still see the pretty design. The acrylic or chalk paint does not show the pattern afterward. I am not a christmas person. However to hubby and I do M/M Santa 🤶 🧑🎄 and have a ball with that. If I get any decorations out it is minimal. The plastic bowls are dishwasher safe
I took the same Dollar Tree vase & and used clear gems and a color changing LED puck with remote on my table. Now I want to add trees to the outside like you did.

My daughter's birthday is also December 18. Always celebrate her birthday. Every other year she would have sleep over party the week before her birthday.
I'll be hunting down those window clings & make that tray for a wreath attachment! Think I'll paint the background off white or navy, then mod podge. Love it!

I always try to be organised and have everything done in time to just relax and enjoy Christmas, but always run like a headless chicken 🐓 right up to the very last second! I try to at least get the 🌲 tree up Thanksgiving weekend because I direct my church’s Christmas pageant every year. Well this year my husband booked a cruise for the week after Thanksgiving. So I am going crazy trying to decorate and get the pageant put together. I think my head is going to explode. I love Christmas, but this year is hard.
My grandson's birthday is the 16th of Dec. My brother was the 24th of December ( Rip) i have a great niece expected on the 22nd. It's been a rough year, i spent a month in hospital with long covid, the hurricanes and the destruction we're still going through, stepdad has prostate cancer so we've been running everywhere to doctors and ERs. I’m not last minute by choice, my Christmas spirit is definitely there in like late October on (ok, who am I kidding, in July I definitely experience some 🤭) but life stuff brings most elements to become last minute. These are so awesome, Collette!! I bet those little painted plastic bowls would look amazing on the chargers! I won’t ask if anything is food safe 😉, but how did those plastic chargers not melt/warp with your hotter than the sun hot glue? I suspect I would end up with warped or outright melted even though mine isn’t that hot.

Make sure to glue the battery box door side up! I use Velcro dots on the battery doors of tea lights so I can still use the power switch.😊
