Nah, what really makes them dangerous is that quartz is such a massive threat too. You can shut down a pharmercy or echo pretty easily if the other dps isn't doing much but if they're good and you commit too much to the pharmercy then the other dps will freely kill your whole team

I think if you do this for other dps players they suddenly would also be a lot better. now u do this with phara that is also not so easy to shoot over your head and only with certain characters and the phara doesnt even have to have good aim with the splash dmg she does + if she dies the mercy just rez her and they go again. this game is not 1v1 it is teamwork if you think you can pick a hit scan character and think you can take YZNSA out quartz will shoot you before you can even aim up plus Haku will keep him alive and Sirmajed will harass you with his kriko KSAA will also try to shut you down it is all about teamworks

The reason pharah isn’t played is because most teams have a strat that doesn’t revolve around pharah. There’s a reason why you don’t see opponents swapping to counter pharah in most matches. Because each team has a specific strat that they try to play with And changing comp mid game hurts more than it benifits Just for one pharah.

Yeah, Pharah is a pub stomper, similar to bastion. The minute you have either the mechanical skill to pick her or mercy out of the sky with a high burst hitscan like a pocketed cass or widow or a coordinated dive on either the point or the mercy pocket, pharah/mercy becomes a non-issue.
