Literally everything about Unova is perfect. •Characters/Character Design •Story that *actually* has meaning and you have a (major) role in •An actual new experience that was at times challenging, and not to mention the Easy/Hard mode option •Pokemon are good (Yeah Kanto has a literally damn Pokeball and a literally pile of Muck called Muk, who cares Unova dex is fine) •Bomb ass music So explain to me how exactly everyone thought this was bad back in 10'?
@@pastawater2969 Oh absolutely. As I kid I enjoyed the hell out of it, especially White 2, think last I checked was around 300 hours on my save. I get this series isn't aimed for Adults, but Gen 5 was definitely aimed towards teens. Looking back on it now, every time I see or hear Unova music or artwork, it feels mature compared to other regions, and I love it.
People just disliked it because it was a drastic shift from the previous games. The story took a hugely different turn in comparison to older games, the BW dex had *only* the new Unova Pokemon, and a ton of the Pokemon in the gen had questionable designs. They tried a different twist on the previous Pokemon games, and it kinda flopped because the people who played the older games didn't click with it.
@@SunSun-sk4si Yeah fair enough, though I mean Hoenn did the same thing to an extent, many Gen 1 and 2 pokemon weren't there, which is why FRLG and Emerald were made. And BW2 also fixed that issue which was very nice I'll admit, but BW Unova exclusive never bothered me at least and I started the series with Diamond and Fire Red
I always loved hearing the first town theme after beating the main game. It makes things come full circle before setting back out to see the rest of the world.
I'm a new pokemon fan, so I never got the nostalgia a lot of people have for this game today, as I only got it last year, but I still feel a lot happier when hear this. Thanks Zame!

@@rainthedraconic402 Gen 7 didn't get sinnoh remakes becuase remakes tend to come out in even numbered gens. Gen 2 remakes in Gen 4, Gen 3 remakes in Gen 6, Gen 4 remakes in Gen 8 & so on
I still have my original copy of Pokémon White. The start of my decade-long love of this series, the start of, truly, something big. And this was the first town to greet me. What I'd give to experience it all for the first time again.
I remember this theme of starting of a new journey the memories I get when battling in the house with cheren and Bianca . Nostalgia ZAME your the best remaker ever
i might be late…but this is beautiful! my first ever pkmn game was pokémon black and i love replaying it every once in a while!(like right now lol) as a kid i never appreciated the calm and slow themes nearly as much as i do now so it’s not AS nostalgic to me as other themes…but this will always be the first pokémon town i ever visited and i remember what felt like forever deciding my starter(i chose osh if it wasn’t already obvious) either way thank you zame for this lovely remaster and it brings me such happiness:)
The fact Electro Ball came out with this makes me feel old. I think if I remember right, in the show, Pikachu sends a giant electro-ball that Meowth claims, "the size of the sun"
@@pkmnproductions7461 well a remake is fine too as long as it's not chibi 3d overworld just like bdsp. if i ever see chibi ghetsis i would pretend the remake never existed though if they ever give us bw3 i would be very happy since i just feels like the story of bw2 isn't as good as bw1

Honestly this is exactly how I've always felt about gen 5, been saying it for years, peak pokemon for sure

I loved Unova from the first time a played it. Black 2 and White 2 are perfect in (almost) every way possible
