- I visit Dundonald Links and stay in the lodge accommodation which is something quite special and could well be Scotlands finest play and stay golf venue.

Just an Average Golfer giving unbiased opinions on all things golf, product tests, Golf travel vlogs and golf news!
I think spending time with your Dad, having a pint and chat is the best thing, It doesn't matter where you are really. This is what I want out of golf, just to spend time with my lads and enjoy their company. Which is just as well as we are crap at golf.
I checked out the prices, and actually for that level of quality it’s very reasonable. Brilliant format Andy, super fascinating and well made. For a treat (hmmm my 60th birthday???) looks brilliant.
Great video and love the production and how that's done.well done
Looks fantastic
Looks a good great set up might have to same a lots of pennies. Got to get a lodge with a fridge cam though. 😊
That was fantastic! Thanks again Andy!
Andy great video
Looks like a lot of fun shared...... still looks cold all the same
I see some really nice scotch whisky in the background. Beautiful facility and a really exceptional place to stay.
Never to far away from whisky in Scotland 🤣
Lovely, guessing that’s dad there too. On the list but prices are a little steep.
Really enjoyed that Andy, thank you
Thank you
This place looks amazing 👌
the clubhouse and restaurant are, i didnt think the course was up to the same level but i played it on a stinker of a day. felt a fake manufactured links. cant see or hear the sea from any hole. thats not a real links course imo.
Looks like a great place to play.
It really is
I dont know what the cost is here but i would gamble that most average golfers would struggle to afford it. I for one could only dream.
It’s good, and I like it. However, “the best stay and play” in Scotland? I don’t know.
How about, The Machrie, Machrahanish Dunes/Ugadale Hotel, Gleneagles, Old Course Hotel/Dukes Golf, there are quite a few.
Would you prefer I change the title to ‘one of the….?’ 🤷♂️
@@TheAverageGolfer ouch. Putting BEST in caps, is that not actually emphasising that in your opinion, it’s the best?
Are viewers not entitled to have an opinion? I also omitted a very near neighbour in Turnberry Resort.
Most, if not all my comments on your videos are positive, however, if that’s your level of response, to what I see as a very relevant reasonable reply, don’t think I’ll bother watching anymore.
@@andrewjohnston5942 🤣 why was you offended by my reply?
@@TheAverageGolfer I think he thought you were condescending to him... not how I read it but...
@@keithfinley2939 I was suggesting I change the title based on his comment 🤣 sometimes just best not to reply at all
