Sam, a question: In the last game you had a lot of money, but chose to build a size 4 instead of a size 5. How come? U could maybe release Kangaroo later and play another large animal.
Without build upgraded my space is pretty limited. I know I want a size 5 for the Croc, but don't have space to build 2 size 5s. So if I play the Kangaroo into 5 but don't find a release then I can't play Mr Croc. It was just a poorly played game in general from me. Not finding the time to upgrade build earlier cost me a lot.
@19:20 that sequence of events feels like a game I played a couple months ago on BGA. Birds 5 as a possible project, Barred Owl Hut into an Owl. Perception 2 into Eagle 1 and Owl 2. I then played Owl 2 into the Stalk thay needs Europe. I played that and one eagle to clinch birds 5 (they had breeding programme)... then drew into the other eagle. When i played the final eagle as determination at the end as my first animal, I drew into Sunbear that I could play. All skill, of course. I felt so bad that I had to apologise to my opponent.

When you go into an Ark Nova game it is the very first option in the settings (the cog icon top right of screen). Player boards layout > Multiple view

If my opponent did that I would stop playing Ark for a few weeks. Nice sequence! It takes great skill to draw that kind of combo
