I think if you gently tap the bowl,the bubbles would rise to surface,when you squeeze the resin container,it introduces AIR!!

you need to mix a 3rd of the water epoxy with the gravel, so there no bubbles to it. then build up and always dry each layer

⁠@@mommyandmetoys27I’ve watched a whole bunch of these videos and the number 1 issue I have seen is that Miniverse needs to fix their instructions. So many people have said the same thing as you, “I don’t understand what this means”, referencing the asterisks and dotted lines. Tells me the problem is the kit not the creator. And these are supposed to be for kids; how upset would a kid be with all those bubbles and not being able to see the fish. Also, pink fish, pink stones, is too one note and not enough contrast to really show the fish.
As the previous response says, the issue is air trapped in the sand, slowly working up into the resin as the resin sinks in. So the issue you had isn’t so much that you didn’t leave the light on to cure long enough, as rushing to hit it with the light before getting all the bubbles to rise to the surface. Mixing the pebbles with resin first, then putting it into the bowl & tamping it down, curing, then adding the rest of the resin (still in layers) should help.

Does the "dirt" harden when exposed to air so the cactus doesnt fall out?

Hi! I use a UV ray light. You can find them in the flash lights . You can also use a light that is used for gel nails.
