Its still be developed. I have invested in this about 1 year ago. It should be 1-2 more years till its on the market. I'll get first pick being an investor.
SO...I just watched two videos on your residential wind turbines being the Liam F1 wind turbine and this one. I recently moved to Costa Rica from San Diego where we have purchased some land near the coast in Guanacaste. My wife and I plan on constructing a state-of-the-art (technology speaking) very efficient on/off grid home for both power and water. In San Diego we added 22 solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall to a pre-built home and it has been great. Since we will be constructing this one from scratch, we plan one taking it to the next level in terms of both energy and water. I came across a wind generation product called Ridgeblade, but from what I can tell they are out-of-business. Then, I came across these two products you featured and you seem to know what is available in the next 12 months that we could integrate into our home design. With all this said, your input would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance!
I can see the powerpod being a very versatile peace of Kitt for your house roof also, you parked up somewhere and you can charge your phone your laptop with having one of these power pods on your car roof. The power pod can hold on to your car roof with magnets. Also you out camping in the tent on the hilltop power pod. You can power your your radio and charge your mobile phone and charge your torch also charge things on the boat things on the boat. When you're out on a boat power pod you can power all the electrics on the boat. Narrow boats on the canals power all your electrics on board them being used everywhere very first tile indeed. And if you can make them portable your onto a winner!!!
I've been waiting for the powerpod since they first started. They are perfect for the roof of a home. I would purchase 3 of them for my house. If they would ever produce them. The Black or carbon grey. Would be barely be noticed on my roof. And be exactly what I am looking for. To supplement my 19kwh solar/72kwh storage. That I already have. Still waiting.
So the last update on Halcium ( the maker of this pod) website was 2022 with a note on further research going on, this looks like a dead end. Unlikely the pod will ever produce the 1.5kw claimed except under ideal conditions.
@MadRat70 yeah, it's a complete crock of shit, never have enough power to do anything, probably 12 -24v as well. Move near a river and fit a turbulent water wheel, they work and make real 240v at 15kw. They also make bigger ones.
1. Photovoltaic: your comments are technologically totally outdated. Current efficiency is around 24% with some 500W per module, and growing. The 15% you mention apply at about to the year 2015, that is totally outdated 2. Wind turbines: the co2 footprint is enormous. For more, there are already turbines manufactured from wood. 3. So far I have not seen any wind turbine at the photovoltaic cost level, all were drastically more expensive. For 1.5 kW you need at about 3 modules. With high efficiency that are some 500 to 600 US$.
As a mechanical engineer, I am not very optimistic about this product because two parameters determine the power generation: the sweep area and the wind energy utilization coefficient Cp. Firstly, the sweeping area of this product is not very large, and secondly, its wind energy utilization coefficient Cp is still in an unknown stage. Even if it reaches the wind energy utilization coefficient of a wind turbine with the same horizontal axis under strong wind conditions, the overall power generation efficiency will be very low due to its small sweeping area.
The thing is though, I've seen this up-and-coming, bird-safe wind tech, that gives hope for more individual autonomy for each home, from Halcium for yearrrrrs now, but still hasn't come to the market. Still? Why? How?
That's a great point! It's interesting how some promising technologies take a while to become available on the market. However, I think it's worth considering the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series as an alternative for home backup power. It offers a massive capacity, powerful output, and fast recharging, making it perfect for outdoor adventures and ensuring uninterrupted power supply. You should definitely check it out if you're looking for reliable and versatile power solutions.
Would you people STOP comparing wind generating devices to ONLY solar panels! Wind devices SUPPLEMENT solar panels! Would so much like to see comparisons of the various and NEW wind devices!
This wind turbine is called to produce a maximum of 1,5KW. Also is mentioned that solar panels will produce 200W/M^2. In other words, only a small area of 8 m^2 (2 by 4 meters) will produce the same peak energy als this turbine. I cannot call that a large surface. Given that my roof is already 72 m^2 usable space. Also this rendement , 15%, is lower than we the current modern panels will give at least 20% (30% more energy / M^2) should be more the norm. (Max rendement around 25% ) (Silicium panels on the solarcars 10 years ago, 2013, already could give 22,6% rendement. And what was the top of the bill at that moment should be the norm of today.) Also wind turbines do have a low rendement. (Law of Betz)...Theoretical mx is 59,3%....but even the most efficient turbines these days will only get 70 to 80% of that. What I'm missing in this film is how much windspeed this device needs to generate that peak power. Also , in most areas we would need to place those thing high above other objects in the surrounding to catch enough wind. They would become eye catchers.
THE Headline states " These Wind Turbines have NO Blades" THEN immediately goes on to say it has blades inside the construction. Either it has NO BLADES, OR, IT HAS BLADES. Who got the headline WRONG????????? It cannot "collect air" unless self powered and the air is simply directed into the machine, not collected. Who write this stuff so it seems real but is propaganda like. Not saying air forced by nature onto a set of blades cannot generate electricity. How does a BIG GREEN THING on your roof blend in with the urban environment. When they are cheap because they are so effective and common, I might buy one.
I don't think they ever plan on releasing this wind turbine, seems like the company has every thing they need to go to market they just don't and I believe the claim is something like 3kWh if the wind is greater than 10 m/s, but again it just seems like fluff
I don't buy it, actually you never will. Even if you could, it will never pay off. It will cost so much, it will take the rest of your life to brake even.
First, the title of the video is not a good description of the product you're selling. You say the blades are on the inside. You must not think your videos are very good. If you believe your TH-cam videos are good you would invite the viewers to like and subscribe towards the end of the video. I.I'm not impressed.

Can you add contact info since you are an investor? Maybe their website??

With only about a 24" wide turbine under the lid it will NEVER produce 1.5kw before it too is airborne.

Where to see and to buy in Europe ???
I would like to purchase it, what can I do?
How much are they ?
Made out of unobtainium and dreams
@@carlisnorvell8180 really expensive then .
Where can I find out more
It great way to look the future
Have asked several times when production will start, but have not received an answer.
Any field test proof of one working?
At what cost?
1.5 kW is produced in how many hours/day/week/month?
1.5KW turbine produces 1.5kwh in one hour at certain wind velocity and air density.
You better learn what "kW" or "kWh" means.
This wind turbine is called to produce a maximum of 1,5KW.

It's NOT a "tur-bin".
It's a "tur-bye-n"
Sir.Thanks for Information.Cleaning is Big problem. The Back power battery and inverter costs.
Sir.Thanks in India Coimbatore a strat up company is installing A.C.power wind mills Up 10kva.No back up is required.

Like small wind turbines, but ya made the mistake of adding Bill Gates' name to the mix
too expensive, needs to be more affordable
CAPITALISM SUPPORT BIG OIL COMPANYS.
could go well in mobil hom pk
esp in griddown not likely to attract bums
I'm just wondering why not redirect the Venturi effect on a Tesla turbine with a much higher efficiency ?
It's NOT a "tur-bin"
Looks good but 1.5 kilowatt is nothing
That's 50p worth of electric is my maths right as s single person I use 3 kg a day in summer
Kw uk
Trillions and trillions of dollars business in the universe years2024 making electricity
👍🏻

too much "which means", which means i stopped viewing
Where's the proven data...concept idea...throw a couple of tech guys at it and it might happen. Sounds like a scam to me...
