Shawn, love your channel. I work in the mechanical dept for Norfolk Southern railroad. First, let me say I was so happy to see our engine in the 2nd train that went by. Second, the badge you pointed out on the side of the flat car is the dimensions of the brake rigging. It's there for repair or replacement. Really enjoy the vids. Keep up the good work.
It's a pity about that polarizer cancelling out the LCD. Is that why the screen was polarized as well? Anyway, it's great to see things warming up on the PNW, while it's still snowing here on the Atlantic North West. It was great to come along with you., and what a train bonus! That second one 3 pullers and a pusher! Wow!
We had a high of 41 degrees today (Monday) and a bad storm coming overnight and all day tomorrow 4 to 8 inches. I want it to be nice so I can ride but at least I get to watch you!

I have watched all of your vlogs and have enjoyed every one of them. This is one of my favorites so far. Thoroughly enjoyed the scenery. The only thing missing was your dogs. Loved the shot of the old train cars, particularly the Caboose.
My husband has a 2013 and I have a 2014. There is enough changes in the Spyders, time to trade the 2013 for a new 2018 come July. Hoping to take demo out soon.
I took note of the same thing yesterday; 1 new-ish Goldwing, 3 BMW's, and at least a 100 Harleys. How many people have been on that caboose? Well me for one! I checked out all those rail cars too not that long ago. Quick question for you Shawn, have you ever been to that motorcycle museum around the corner from those rail cars? I haven't been yet, but was thinking about checking it out next weekend maybe. Also, good to see you up and about Kelly. Glad to see that you are doing better.
The 2018 Spyder looks sharp, although I wish BRP would bring back the metallic red. Is the gas gauge anymore reliable than it was on the 2012 Spyder RT-S? Every time I see a train roll by these days, I think of the movie, Unstoppable with Denzel Washington and Chris Pine.
Technical question: My aunt has a 2017 f3 auto and I test rode it. Im not sure if I'm supposed to let off gas to shift or not. Seemed clunky either way. Got any hints? And I LOVE IT when Kelly goes with you.

Since you had two Heros you should have had one on your wife and she could have recorded the side view and you could have edited it in and we could see the things you talk about. Fences and barns and such.

Interesting fact: trains in Europe run on the "wrong" side of the track. Same as driving in the UK. Cheers.

what doyou prefer to ride with for long distance driving , an rt limited or F3 limited ?
I'm definitely an RT fan..! Big comfort and lots of storage for the long haul. The F3's are crazy fun and sporty though!

Buy your own caboose that'd be cool. Old trains very cool. Wooden car very old
