No. Shut up. That's still a thing. Just because things from your childhood happened in the 90s doesn't make it not a thing now. You'd know that if you lived with many young children.
nikkinicole901 You probably watched reruns too. Most of these shows' airing times where 10 am - 2 pm. I may have watched the reruns a little later than you did but we both watched reruns. :)
90s kid here! Thing is I grew up with kids in my family born in the 70's and 80's, so I had THEEE ultimate best childhood. I remember being 5 years old and watching Real World, never understanding why my sister watched that show. I thought it was boring.
FuriousStrength yup. because I wasn't born between 1990 and 1999 and I have absolutely no remembrance of anything that happened before the year 2000 smh smh -__-
i was a teenager in the 90s we left the house and did things with are friends now you have to turn off the power in the house to get kids to go out and do things
I was born in 95. But I remember a lot of the 90's stuff from when I was a little kid. I remember the styles of clothing And the VHS tapes and yeah the super slow and very limited internet. Awesome time for growing up personally. What I would give to go back to simpler days with less technology and more fun
I was born in 1996 and grew up with alot of 90's kids stuff. I had a cassette tape player and cd player. I remember wonder balls and getting the nick slime to play with XD
Anyone born from 1987- 1999 are 90s kids. Here's the thing most are forgetting for some reason, the second a decade ends the trends don't immediately die with it. Those 90s things happened in the early 2000s too. Let's someone was born in 1997, so most of their childhood is in the 2000s, I can promise you they can relate to this video and other 90s kids. They experience the 90s trends in the early 2000s. As long as you were born or raised in the 90s then you're a 90s kid.
True. I was born in 86 and I hardly remember the last years of the 80's, but I can definitely remember the 90's. Ohhhh that decade. I love being a kid in the 90's!
"My family died of dysentery" LOL i so appreciate the oregon trail reference i played it ALL the time. I also love all of the food references. Fruit rollups, fruit by the foot, ring pops, snack packs. And I miss slime time live!
Yes!!! Thank you for that comment! I was born in November of 1986, so I don't remember anything about the 80s either. I watched TV growing up and watched the shows when they were brand new, so I completely get what you're saying!!
I was born in the late 90's and practically relate to EVERYTHING in this video. So being born in the late 80's doesn't make you cool. It just makes you old.
I'm 14 and I grew up with a lot of stuff he's talking about. I watched old reruns of the 90s nick shows. I was born in 98 but I still remember a lot of this stuff. I grew up with tomogatchi and pokemon cards and yelling at my friends who borrowed my movies and didn't rewind them, all that.
From puberty up until the end of high school is usually the nostalgic resting place. I was born in 79 and I definitely consider myself a 90's "kid" even though I remember the 80's well enough.
I was born in feb 92, I can relate to basically everything in this video and more, I've been alive for 21 years, 8 of those years were spent living in the 90's, I'm a 90's kid.
90s babies were influenced by the 90s because 90s things went all the way into early 2000s, about 2003 or 4 some went till around 5 or 6. I still remember the music tapes that my brother and sister would have. We used VCR, Blockbuster, floppy disks, and played pinball on bulky computers. I still remember when downloading took a half hour. I knew the backstreet boys because my cousin was in love with them. We may had the end of it but it still influenced our childhood.
ahhh this was amazing! I can't wait to show my husband...I seriously wish we could go back to that time. ALSO 90's amazingness may have gone into the early 2000's but if you weren't born by atleast 92..you don't truly understand it..and it is a club..the best club :p haha
lol yes!!! when I was workin at Whataburger I answered the drive thru like "welcome to Whataburger home of the Whataburger, can I take ya orrrrdah?" lol 90's kid for ev.
I use to think people around 18 and above are adults. But now being a 18, and i look at all the 90s kid, i feel like they're just as young at heart as me. Come on, we miss those 90s stuffs... We will always share the same kind of fun!
*phone clicks* "I THINK SOMEONE WAS TRYING TO EASE DROP IN OUR CONVERSTATION." xD....or if you're on the phone with your friend "We have to talk low, the phone is on a cord and my parents are trying to watch a show." lol
ha i remember doing and saying all of that. My 90's kid outfit all day was off the shoulder shirt with a picture of a cat, floral pants, and jelly shoes.
dude I remember when nickelodeon was in ATL and they were sliming people I was like 9 and it got the dude sitting next to me but not me. I was so disappointed man.
It's a thing that we think you have to be born in like the late 80's or mid 90's like 86-95 to be considered a 90's kid you may have experienced some of the same things but you were a couple years early for everything. I myself was born in 94 and i am considered a 90's kid but i still missed alot of things that my older brothers got to see and be apart of cause i was a toddler till 97 and my memory didn't develop till later. If you can remember what i can i would be happy to call you a 90's kid.
I was born in 91 feb and I say all this...and did all this fave show when I was 6 was Kenan and kell watched it and Doug and the Amanda show and are you afraid of the dark......
Yes. Just yes to all of these. I don't hear stuff like this anymore cause the few other 90's kids I do know seemed determined to abandon their old favorites... Ah well.
To clarify your point. most people who are born anywhere from 93 on aren't technically 90's kids. Being born in 1990, I understand all of these references as I've experienced all of it. And even still, having older siblings, I even understand references I'm "too young" to understand. all in all, depending on how you were raised you are included in certain generations to a certain extent. therefore I consider myself part of Generation X, where-as technically I am born during Generation Y
My parents had us watch 80's and 70's stuff. We didn't watch Sailor Moon, we watched Voltron, Little House on the Praire, Fantasy Island, Back to the Future, etc. But then again, we spent 90% of our free time reading, doing board games, and playing outside without any electronic devices, with our neighbors. The other 10% was eating and sleeping. I'm so primitive, I haven't had cable/Dish in 4 years. There's this cool thing called a window...
I was born in '96 and I relate to everything in this video. So that's only four years of living in the '90s, but I'm still a 90's kid. Being a 90's kid doesn't have to be so damn exclusive.
haha "my family died from dysentery." good old Oregon Trail.
Anyone remember back in the 90s people would ask you to spell icup= i c u p
or look down your shirt and spell attic.
lol
No. Shut up. That's still a thing. Just because things from your childhood happened in the 90s doesn't make it not a thing now. You'd know that if you lived with many young children.
^ exactly
lol yup
if you were born in the 90's, you'll probably wont get half of these things he's talking about! born 80's raised 90's... yeaaa!!!
I was born in '95 and I understood every single thing in this.
YES! those were the days!
milesandemilyrock most of this stuff came out way before '95. u probably watch the reruns like yrs later lol its ok... us 80's babies lived it
nikkinicole901 You probably watched reruns too. Most of these shows' airing times where 10 am - 2 pm. I may have watched the reruns a little later than you did but we both watched reruns. :)

+Luis Ramos If you were born in 1991, you weren't a '90s kid.
FuriousStrength
yup. because I wasn't born between 1990 and 1999 and I have absolutely no remembrance of anything that happened before the year 2000 smh smh -__-

i was a teenager in the 90s we left the house and did things with are friends now you have to turn off the power in the house to get kids to go out and do things
I was born in 95. But I remember a lot of the 90's stuff from when I was a little kid. I remember the styles of clothing And the VHS tapes and yeah the super slow and very limited internet. Awesome time for growing up personally. What I would give to go back to simpler days with less technology and more fun

I was born in 1995 and I loved those wonder balls. Chocolate shell spheres with candy in the middle and stickers.
I all of a sudden felt guilty for letting my tamagotchi die quietly in the sock drawer all those years ago.
the way he said "Hey have you seen my beeper?" haha
True. I was born in 86 and I hardly remember the last years of the 80's, but I can definitely remember the 90's. Ohhhh that decade. I love being a kid in the 90's!
I thought I was in the 90s until you started watching Hulu on the internet. Cut that shit out!
"My family died of dysentery" LOL i so appreciate the oregon trail reference i played it ALL the time. I also love all of the food references. Fruit rollups, fruit by the foot, ring pops, snack packs. And I miss slime time live!
I am not going argue with a child...if you feel like your 90's kid good for you. Have a blessed day
REWINDING.... man i totally forgot about that shit!
Yes!!! Thank you for that comment! I was born in November of 1986, so I don't remember anything about the 80s either. I watched TV growing up and watched the shows when they were brand new, so I completely get what you're saying!!
I was born in the 90s, not a kid in the 90s, so I don't think I count, but I still say some of this stuff, and remember most of this stuff haha
I said all this stuff and I grew up late 90's early 2000's.
That was the time.
And for those of us born in 1990, we are both '90s babies and '90s kids :)
I was born in the late 90's and practically relate to EVERYTHING in this video. So being born in the late 80's doesn't make you cool. It just makes you old.
Oh my god! The orange soda part! So much nostalgiaaaaa!!!!!
I'm 14 and I grew up with a lot of stuff he's talking about. I watched old reruns of the 90s nick shows. I was born in 98 but I still remember a lot of this stuff. I grew up with tomogatchi and pokemon cards and yelling at my friends who borrowed my movies and didn't rewind them, all that.

xD
"Why is the black ranger black, and the Asian ranger yellow?" XDD
I was born in feb 92, I can relate to basically everything in this video and more, I've been alive for 21 years, 8 of those years were spent living in the 90's, I'm a 90's kid.
Born 1991. God I miss my childhood...and my Tamagotchi. You know what I have now? I bunch of Nintendogs I haven't fed or walked in over two years...
90s babies were influenced by the 90s because 90s things went all the way into early 2000s, about 2003 or 4 some went till around 5 or 6. You merely adopted the 90's. I was BORN in it-- molded by it.
Oh god the "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry" made my day! I remember watching the Jerry Springer show... Ah memories!
I was on a nostalgic trip
dude I remember when nickelodeon was in ATL and they were sliming people I was like 9 and it got the dude sitting next to me but not me. I was so disappointed man.

HAHA love the Oregon Trail reference. :P
Yes. Just yes to all of these. I don't hear stuff like this anymore cause the few other 90's kids I do know seemed determined to abandon their old favorites... Ah well.
I believe what she means to say is that you aren't a "90's kid" if you're 2 at 1998.
This video was lifeeee especially the VHS tape reference #1996 my favorite toy used to be litebrite.
"Buffy can slay me anytime!" hahahahahahahaha.
Same here, although I remember being around 3 or 4 using floppy disks and watching those epic shows like Doug :D
95 FTW~
Some of these stuff I still do!! X'D (Born in '90)
this makes me happy to realize i am technically a 90's kid. (1997) i feel vintage.
To clarify your point. most people who are born anywhere from 93 on aren't technically 90's kids.

I feel old that I know all of these things.
Proud to be a 90's kid
I was born in Dec 94 and I love this vid because I can totally relate
I have found myself saying a lot of these! Especially the orange soda comment lol!
My childhood in a nutshell. Well done
RIGHT ON!!! As I said many a time, UNLESS SOMEONE WAS BORN IN 83/84 AS THE LATEST, THEY ARE NOT A TRUE 90'S KID!!!
My parents had us watch 80's and 70's stuff. We didn't watch Sailor Moon, we watched Voltron, Little House on the Praire, Fantasy Island, Back to the Future, etc. But then again, we spent 90% of our free time reading, doing board games, and playing outside without any electronic devices, with our neighbors. those shows were epic.
