- It was a typical Friday at the Syracuse Nationals. Started out slow and by the mid afternoon it was filling in just fine. It's still mind boggling the quality of the cars that show up. Even the Riddler Award winner was in the Gene Winfield award competition, vying for the $10,000 first prize. This show should be on everyone's bucket list.
Great to have met up with you filming at Syracuse. What a weekend! Glad our weather held off for this Spectacular Show of 8k cars plus.
It was a pleasure meeting and talking to you.
Syracuse is a Gigantic Show. Takes a day to walk around when all the rides are there.

Excellent job, Bill. You made my day when we were able to chat a couple of times over the two days. I really enjoyed meeting and chatting with John and Randy. Now I can put the name and car together on your videos. It's Sunday and I got home at four pm. Weather held out for the awards. Thought I would see Randy in the winners circle. But next time, maybe. I had some good talks with the new owners of the Nats. I think there will be some changes made for next year. Hopefully, for the good. Thank you for coming. It was good to see Joan and Spike. Love the little guy..
As always it was a pleasure sitting and talking with you and Roger. It’ll probably take me a week to regain my leg strength, lol. As always your car looked awesome. We drove home today in pouring rain and one of our guys lost a wheel bearing and had to finish the trip on a flat bed.

We were getting ready to line the cars up to go across the front of the stage, and it started to rain. So, that part was canceled. Rain only lasted about ten minutes, and the sun came out.

Hey thanks also for showing the for sale signs because now I’m looking and I’ve seen one or two that I kinda liked but not just enough to call yet maybe you’ll find me in 56 mercury up there that I can afford so keep him for sale signs Comeing Bell really appreciate it. Glad to see Joan in spiker with you. I’m doing OK so it’s been four months now and since I’ve had that second car in ragdoll sitting down there getting lonely so keep it looking. I think you’re right. I don’t believe they made a 60 2 door wagon. My father bought a brand new 4 door, black with the white side trim.

Brilliant Bill Joan and of course spiker. Really enjoyed the road trip, and show footage. Glad to see jean winfield there he’s my eldest grandson liams hero, ( and mine) And like you it would be the red Buick from the winfield top six. But so many top machines from start to finish.
