Recently Rob's been pretty good sport about his shortcomings, running with the jokes and rolling with the punches. Good dude, it seems he really matured and humbled since those early Image days
I don't know much about him from his Image days besides what I've looked up, but I do agree that he does seem to be rolling with the punches with the jokes about his drawings. Appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave a comment 👊
Love this video. The "Rob Liefeld feet thing" is well documented, but I can't remember any of the comic book nerds that I follow discuss it ("nerd" obviously said with respect). You feature a lot of first generation X-Force, and I see Rusty and Skids. For every Cable and Deadpool that Liefeld created, there were a lot of one-off characters. I think maybe Grizzly is one that you show. Also that looks like Jim Lee's Zaladane, but that doesn't quite make sense. And if you talk about Rob Liefeld, you mustn't forget all of the pouches. Sooo many pouches.
I'd agree that I haven't seen many other comictubers talk about it either. Totally get that "nerd" is said with respect 😎 And I didn't know that Liefeld created that many 1-off characters. And yes doing my research there were lots of talks about pouches but I decided to forgo that little detail haha. As always, appreciate you watching!!
in his defense he never had any classical training and he is or at least was focused more on the money aspect which is why he lets his stories turn into absolute shit and his art began to slowly get worse and worse for a while. it was quantity over quality. NO WONDER HE STILL WORKS FOR MARVEL
My understanding is that it was based on a real Arnold Schwarzenegger pose, but he didn't notice that Arnold's hands were empty, whereas Cap was holding a shield at his side, which let one of them pull it off with angles.
You'd think he would have improved not only feet but all else with decades in the comic biz. Its not like he wasnt surounded by pro's in the comic artist world...
You would think maybe after hearing some criticism he would. I mean he has a style and he stuck with it and I guess given his success, he decided to say f*ck it and I'll just keep going with what's working.
@@_vixen_4504 I already am an artist. Duh, thats why I said I can draw everything better than Rob, because Rob is a writer, he cant draw. Theres a million youtube videos all about how he cant draw, I can.
The reason i got into comics as a little shit ass was bc of the art so when liefeld came on the scene we kinda avoided his comics but i did like Domino : p
Rob Liefeld is the antithesis of Quentin Tarantino
Ha!
The fact the contrast is really realistic is even more hilarious
Liefeld literally posted a "Liefeld can´t draw feet"-meme today on his Twitter account.
hahaha of course he did

Rofl yeah the fuck right
Dude, I was laughing for 7 minutes straight 😂 This video is comedy gold haha I love that marvel can make fun of itself like this. Great video!
Thanks Will and I was hoping to get some laughs in from people. It is great that Liefeld and Marvel can at least make fun themselves.
Rob has clearly gained inspiration from Ark.

This video is SO UNDERRATED. I had to pause because I'm laughing so hard. I'm trying to catch my breath before I continue.
This MADE MY DAY!! Thank you so much for watching and letting me know I could make you laugh!
@@MusclesAndTheMultiverse Posting this to my artist friends. It's just too good.
Thanks so much for sharing!!
also all the characters he drew has the same face.
Ya know, I haven’t even noticed this before, but you’re right
Well i think this is more of a characteristic that has occured in recent years.

Liefeld never study human anatomy. ‘Nuff said.
😂 This is so true!!
Search: Liefeld + Captain America
He was pretty interesting with chests as well.
Oh, I've seen it... 🤦♂️

2:43 😂
😂 At that point, I was really leaning into how bad some of these drawings are

I can draw better everything than Rob, he should’ve just been a writer
Haha, he really should have
Well if that is the case then become an artist and wow us with your amazing art.

@@jospehbloseph7172 Well what is on your resumé?
@@_vixen_4504Still no reply. 😂
Rob Liefeld is to drawing feet as Zack Snyder is to writing a movie script.
This is a great comparison 😂

Hahaha that's fair. And Domino is great!
Rob Liefeld is bad at faces too.
Someone else said this in a comment and I don't I even noticed how bad they were because I was too focused on finding the terrible feet!
Hehe, this is a great 'catch-up' on Liefeld lol but pity those of us that have 'followed' his work since the 90's Image stuff....🤣
Glad you loved it! So sorry that you followed him for that long hahaha
