He uses whats called a Dualist pedal. It does 2 bass drum hits per pedal press. He needs to activate/deactivate it every time he wants it to do that tho. So he is constantly turning it on/off while playing. People say its not any easier, in fact its really hard to use. He does a video where he figures out how to use 2 of them, one on each foot and does quadruple bass playing. He had to change his foot pattern to be off beat to make it work. The man is not normal! Hes a demigod at drums.

His musicality, precision, accuracy, inventiveness, power, speed, and even his creativity can't compare to his complete limb independence. He can play four different time signatures, including off time notes, like fifth notes or something. He did a few shorts doing different patterns. Then watch his one-handed metal intros. Now you're hooked. I warned you. Now go listen to Blinding lights, Godzilla, some of his shorts videos. You'll see a snare drum upside down for a "shuffling" sound. You'll see a Tom on it's side on the floor played with a pedal on his left foot. Enjoy... He's so much fun and a really incredible man. You can look up "gravity blast", that is what he is doing. Also blast beats. But some tecniques are just stuff he made up. Insane drummer! Great quality man, love to see more!
