지난 2월 26일에는 서울에서 가장 큰 백화점에 새로 오픈 하였습니다. 사실 지난 오픈날을 비롯 일찍이 세번이나 이곳을 방문하였으나 이제서야 여러분과 이 영상을 함께 하게 되었습니다. 😂 오늘은 우리 함께 서울 여의도의 더현대서울 백화점을 함께 걸어봅시다. 영상속에 인파가 많아 다소 스킵한 장면이 많으며, 저작권 음악으로 다른 배경음악을 대체한 경우가 많음을 이해 부탁드립니다. 모두들 마스크 잘 쓰시고 건강하세요!

It was newly opened at the largest department store in Seoul on February 26. Let's walk together at Hyundai Department Store in Yeouido, Seoul. Please understand that there are many skips in the video. All my friends, stay healthy!

The Parc 1 Tower is a supertall skyscraper under construction in Seoul, South Korea. It will stand 334 metres (1,095 ft) and contain 72 floors.[2] Construction stopped in 2011 but resumed in early 2017.
Parc1 will be a US$1.5-billion shopping/hotel/office complex to be realized by Skylan Properties Korea Ltd., a foreign-invested property development and management services group with offices in Seoul, Beijing and Kuala Lumpur. Completion is slated for 2012. Morgan Stanley, a global investment bank, has been engaged as the financial advisor to arrange financing for the project.
Parc1 is now being built on the current Tongil Parking Lot site, a 46,465 square metre plot set between financial and residential districts and bordering Yeouido Park.
Designed by architect Lord Richard Rogers, chief architectural advisor to the mayor of London, the central structure will be a six-story glass mall, offering space for 400 stores.

When I first visited Seoul a few years ago...I noticed almost everyone was very well dressed and well groomed. Recycling standards were very high. Latest hi-tech can be seen everywhere. Even the bank's Kiosk ATM used palm vein scans. People at cafes didn't just leave the cups on the table and leave..they would help to throw into the bin or return to the counter....everywhere I went, my eyes were wide open and couldn't keep my mouth close because of this amazing place.
My experience was the same. I was very impressed with how advanced this country is and how clean and responsible people were. I’m from the US and wish it were like that here.

Koreans have pride in their country and culture. Don’t see much of that here in the US, especially in the big cities.
@@JohnLee-db9zt I agree 100%! I applaud the Korean people for taking pride in their culture and country while I shake my head at how we Americans don’t do the same.
@@JohnLee-db9zt I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and people use the streets for their drug and bathroom needs...actually it’s so bad there is something called “poop maps” so you know what streets to avoid! 😳
매번 느끼는건데 썸낼 기가막히게 잘 뽑으시네요 안들오고는 못배기게끔 요즘 이런게 유행인지 영국 일본 이탈리아등등 여러나라꺼 찾아서 많이 봤는데 아직도 seoul walker님만큼의 퀄리티는 보지 못했습니다 영상미와 퀄이 확연히 달라요 영상이 압도적으로 더 깨끗하고 밝고 이쁩니다

No doubt the architectural interior design in Korea is just jaw dropping...very modern and cosy as they balance it out with plants etc. I’m also impressed with the stores visual display designs. If I were to visit here and explore every nooks and corners, it would take me probably a week...that’s a huge place!! Now I’m missing Seoul so badly.
That is the cleanest most gorgeous store I've seen yet. Great interior design especially near the bakery and wine area, I'd live there!

Department stores and malls are closing down in the States due to the virtual shopping paradigm shift, but Korea shows how to survive from the off line shoppings. This department offers not only shoppings but various elements people actually feel dragged to come out and see these offers.
Taiwan, Mainland China, Hong Kong did the same ;)
Now this is what I call a BIG Mall, give me a tour guide to help me around for this one, I would definitely get lost. What’s awesome to, is that there is a hotel with it, so just get you a room and go shopping for awhile then go to your room and rest and then start all over again! Just so magnificent place of all kinds of shops and cafes! Bring plenty of money, know I would go broke if I stayed here all day long. 😂🤣😂

Korea is doing very well.
They seem to know how to handle everything. They do have pros and cons just like everywhere else, but seems more pros. If I could speak the Korean language well, I would live here.

Shopping malls in the US, at least where I live, are dying away. The pandemic of course shortened their death spiral . Online shopping was the stake through it's heart . So this walk in a crowded mall is wild. Thanks !
So true, where I live, just about half of the mall is closed down.

And if folks are pushing the garbage the US is in decline it is a mistake folks have made in the past. And paid heavily for that mistaken thinking.

Korea has never shuted down and locked down the country and cities since covid was emerged on January 20th in 2020

Wow looks so vast and cool there! Window shopping is one of my favorite things lol. I like seeing the various korean brand goods/stores I've never seen before, as well as other neat styles of brands I'm familiar with. And I wonder how many celebrities you happened to pass by huhu~ Fun fact: I remember seeing a celebrity in a fancy mall once. Anyways, the calm upbeat music and busy mall ambience was nice to listen to as I did some writing. Thanks!
