I’m a little late jumping on the Keepsake Collection bandwagon, mine is out for delivery currently. There’s some things that I wish they had kept from the original (especially the blue sky, and the bathroom with the more prominent tiles and green sink and tub), but overall I’m very pleased with how the remake came out. I love watching your videos for all the attention to detail (and after all, Polly Pocket is all about the teensie details!) Can’t wait to play with mine. Haven’t seen you posting in a while, hope all is ok! I’m not on social media other than YT so hopefully you are still actively posting and playing somewhere. 🧸
@@LudoMakoWork has been crazy lately. We're still down 4 people. I'm technically only supposed to be part time, and I've been working 37+ hours a week for the last six weeks. I had to be in at 1 today, which means leaving the house at 12:30, which is when the premiere always starts in my time zone.
The original one glow less by the time that have? Or it's his original light? I still remember this cuz was a toy of my mom. When I see on the mall, I got confused (by the toy from 1997), and melancholical.

Really liked the new one, overall I still like the og one better aside from the lights...maybe I'd swap two figures tho lol, hate the new one in purple...so childlike but also adult, odd I think we will get more in 2023, but instead of a remake it's gonna be most likely something like mermaid dreams so something more original but in old style

This was my favorite set growing up, I still have it. I removed corrosion in the battery compartment and it worked again :)
How did you remove the corrosion? Im hoping to get mine working again!
I prefer the original one. it overall looks nicer. The plastic details show up better and I prefer the sky color more. Thanks for the comparison!

I picked the new one, which came yesterday and I love it. Now on Starlight Castle i chose the 1992 hands down. Will not be buying the Keepsake one.
I prefer the original one. The new one looks much cheaper imo
