Things like this are why this band stands out so much against others. Because they are a group that has evolved through the years to know their lead singer and support him so much even though he's struggled with his own mentality through each album. The early works so it for sure, but even with Astoria he touches on subjects like substance abuse and it makes it so clear that this band not only wants to make a statement against these things, but to also better the lives of their fans any way they can by breaking the disillusion we might suffer while drowning our personal sorrows. I respect Marianas Trench so much because at the end of each album, at the end of each story they tell, mental and emotional health is so important, and so few artists give a shit at all about their fan base like these guys do.
The hardest thing i have to deal with with my depression, is no support, i literally have to sit here, and suffer on my own because whenever i tell anyone i just get told im an attention whore, to get over it, everyone gets depressed, Even when my biological dad committed suicide and a month later i wanted to my entire family called me an attention whore and that i would never do it, i just say it for the attention, As if they dont know that every waking minute of my life i wish i would just drop dead, i sleep because its the only way i dont have to think or feel anything

I'm crying. I'm going through what he went through but without the drugs. Something bad happened in my family and I have been depressed and did self-harm I didn't cut but I did other stuff. I got PTSD from it. I'm 16 and I just literally found Marianas Trench-like a week ago! Since I found them I have been listening to their music and watching their music videos. Since I found them, I have been happy, my depression is almost completely gone and I haven't self-harmed. All of them make me happy but especially Josh! He's my Hero, and I would love to reach out to him and tell him how he helped me! I'm sad that he went through this and I'm just very happy that he's still alive, if it weren't for him I wouldn't have anyone to make me happy! I have enough money to get vip and go to one of their concerts! Meeting them would be the best thing ever! I am going to put that money aside and not spend it so I can use it to go to a Marianas Trench concert! I have more than enough money to get VIP so I'm definitely;y going to buy some of their merch! T-shirts, bracelets, maybe a cd but I bought their music on iTunes already! And of course posters!
