Nice. Great Info for a newbie like me! Subscribed! Do you have any recommendations for mp3? Any site I can pay a subscription for HQ instead of Youtubin everything?
Yeah please ! What kind of cable we need to hook on your mixer and iphone, to record a set with some good sound quality !! Thx bro peace from Amsterdam
lol. Men, I knew this trick for quite a long time. The benefits of playing fast in the mix as well. Like for example, most DJs place their cues for all songs before their sets begin , so they could make a transition/switch or cutting/blending quick. Matter of fact, you don't have too, if you knew how to use beatjump wisely. A lot of my mobile djs friends ask me, " How the hell you play that quick without cue points? " Lol... it's because of beatjump. It's sad most DJs/mobile Djs didn't knew about this simple trick.
Is it required to have a DJ Controller like the Numark MixTrack Pro3 or DDJ SB2? Could I DJ with just a windows laptop and some speakers? I'm just starting to learn how to DJ and I'll only be playing music for a gym studio starting out and small workout events. If a DJ controller is required which are recommended to start out for beginners? I was planning on using Serato DJ Lite and perhaps getting full Serato DJ depending on what extra features it offers that would be great to have.
Be sure that you have the controls enabled. Go into "Setup" and under the "DJ Preferences" tab, click the "Show Beat Jump Controls" box to turn beat jump on!
I wish you can show me how to. You know what you are talking about. But Make believe you are showing someone in Kindergarten. I have NO clue what you are doing. What link can you show as a starter?

How do you jump from cue point to cue point.? I don’t need it to jump around. Just link one cue to another.

why do the needles on serato change colors?
If you mean the markers on the decks as they are playing, they will switch to the color of the next cue point coming up.
PDotTV this video helped me so much
damn bro... can't be giving these tips out! haha. i been using this since it was introduced in traktor... well over 10 years ago!
I first started using beat jump on Traktor Pro too!
Stingy people lost out with their hidden knowledge
same here, 10 year traktor user too. I love beatjump its the backbone of all my mixes. its a godsend for me i don't know what i would do without it.
