What a fascinating chart. Very cute pattern. It looks great on both fabrics. Just a different vibe.

Thank you! 😊 Yes, Kelley, I am so torn. A different vibe and a different feel as I stitch.

I am stitching on 18 count with one thread on my new project, Merry Christmas by The Camping Stitcher. This is my first time stitching with one thread and it is an adjustment.
I agree, the restart on the 18 count looks even better for Jane Austen.
Thanks for the history lesson! Very interesting.

@@coffeelovingmaria I love 18-count and I wish you a great stitch, Mrs. G. It sounds beautiful I can’t help myself story-telling and the “Let’s go get kids smart!” shout out in the teachers lounge at the end of lunch memory in my head. It’s the kind of thing my mom would do, too.

Thanks, Sallie. I am so torn, because I know that it is brighter on the white Aida-it just looks rather elementary/basic. Uh, I like them BOTH. And then, cheers to the WOOS quilt helping the volunteer fire dept’s supply costs!

The nine patch blocks will look great in the quilt! Can't wait to see it when finished!
    Your project bag is cute.
The first colour "cobblestone" you ended up taking off looked nice however the white really showed the colours better, crisper if you will, just my humble opinion. It is a beautiful stitch.
The WOOS quilt is beautiful. I love mine and will enter it in shows early 2025. I hope they raise a HUGE amount of money for such a beautiful quilt!
    Thanks for sharing!
