Some of us were saying the Bears should draft an O linemen. As a Packers fan I laughed when they drafted Odunze. Drafting a skill position in the early first is reserved for truly generational talents like MHJ or Brock Bowers or for teams that have all the foundational positions sewed up, QB, O line and D line all squared away. It's not for teams that don't have these positions set OR for teams that already have good skill position players, and the Bears met both of these. What made this egregious though was in the next draft there will be another 10+ good to great WRs available. But there won't be 7-8 good to great O linemen available like the 2024 draft, usually there's 1-2 good O linemen and a bunch of project players in a draft, 2024 was a weirdly heavy draft on O linemen.
It doesn’t really matter at this moment. Once Odunze and Williams get synced up, they’ll be glad they picked Rome. They can just rebuild the protection over the next couple years. It doesn’t matter if next year isn’t a great o-line draft. Being a good prospect doesn’t mean anything until the guy actually plays. The reason Caleb was getting blown up on SNF has more to do with the coaching and Caleb not having experience with NFL pressure.

To many concussions in college and NFL. Dolphins doctors need to say he is medically unfit to play and get all his guaranteed money to live out a peaceful and healthy life in retirement.
Oh stop it! The Bears o line is fine, relax! I hate this new thing we do where a rookie QB who everyone thinks is food struggled and immediately we blame the o line or weapons, sacks are a qb stat, caleb running around and not getting the ball out on time and slow to make reads is why hes getting crushed. The o line was fine last year thats why no one was talking about protection, quit flipping up john
With a $50mil contract, maybe QBs should be wearing extra helmet padding
padding does nothing but protect your skull. a concussion is caused when your brain smacks up against the inside of your skull. there is no protecting that.
NFL Qb play is atrocious
He's obviously not going to walk away from all that money because his family is going to need it if he makes it to the age of 50 and they are feeding him with baby food and he can't remember his own name. The real question is when are the Dolphins moving on and how much of a dead cap hit are they going to take. Once Ross pulls the pin on Tua that's it he ain't getting picked up by another team.
You have no idea what you’re talking or know what Tua’s future looks like
@@gregtrust5599 You do realise that brain damage is not reversable don't you? All the tissue damaged already is dead forever. We only have to look at Muhammad Ali as a point of reference of someone who looked just fine at Tua's age but by 50 the accumulation of brain damage he had sustained had a severe impact on his health.
Let's give Tua 1 more brain injury before we say he should retire
The broncos invested a ton in their o line and they are awful !
To pancreatic cancer; survival rate is not good. Biggest decision is, couple good years or 6 years under treatment wishing you had just passed and enjoyed the couple good years.
People are going to pissed when Georgia wins the natty again. Can’t wait
Arch Middlekauff 😂😂
With 73 million in the bank who care about the rest. It’s literally a no brainer ( pun intended )to retire now.
I think when u talk about retiring u have to say what the man means to the team except for the money issue tua is not the team miami carrys tua tua don't t carry the dolphins. with out the scheme tua is average at best qb miami can get any one average to run that offense with all those weapons that is showed by the fact that when the system breaks down tua loses because he cant put the team on his back miami should move on and tua should save his health and retire but concussions are serious but all factors should be considered
Tua really should retire. Hope his family is doing what they can to convince him. It’s insane to put your future through the kind of brain damage he’s gonna have later on.
Edit: as to Florida State, you didn’t jinx them, they were robbed last year. And so they lost all motivation, coach’s message isn’t hitting anymore.
Dammit man does this kid have any other life skills?? Andrew Luck is doing just fine probably. The esthetic of Steve McMichael’s appearance for his HOF induction did nothing for the human mind, smh. Let’s cut the crap, some people wanna see a guy die on the field.
