I love military history and militaria, but I usually don’t follow MRE reviews. I stumbled across your Fort Dobbs video and subscribed a few videos later. Your persona exudes positivity and happiness. Very refreshing and relaxing to watch.
This review inspired me to purchase one for my own taste taste. I bought Breakfast Menu #5, which doesn’t have the chocolate bar or condensed milk but did include a container of hazelnut chocolate spread, a packet of honey, and apricot jam. The biscuits were really tasty! I also enjoyed the information packet which explicitly stated that the matches are not to be eaten. I wish I had read that before I had spread them with jam. 😁
@@brianhapeman9262 so glad you decided to try one of these on your own, Brian! Sounds like you're may have been even tastier than mine was 😄 and your comment about the matches and jam made me laugh, so thank you!!!
Always makes me happy when I see a new Schlee MRE review! That was a really interesting ration. Definitely a light breakfast by our standards. I think the two coffee packets would definitely tie everything together nicely for me. Great review! Maybe you can get to try the lunch and dinner menus as well!
Hi , thanks for the review....the Spanish rations always look really cool. I have eaten a few breakfast menu's, didn't really find them that good, was always still hungry afterwards. The coffee is good, and I find having a toothpaste and toothbrush a really good 👍 idea... Nice vid, looking forward to the next one. Best regards from North Germany .
Great review Schlee. Bummer about the jam. These breakfast rations are great. Not huge but enough to get ya moving in the morning. Those biscuits are fantastic along with that SCM (sweetened condensed milk). The chocolate is 1 of my favorites. The oral rehydration salts are weird. Have seen people mix with water like you did and also pop the packet in the mouth and down with a shot of water. Not sure the right way??😅😅 hope you enjoyed the ration!
You got a stove but no curvy cuchara? The beautiful MRE spoon saves the day! To bad about the fruity spread. I have seen others who didnt have utensils end up using the toothbrush for anything from coffee stirrers to using the back of the head to stir and spread the jelly. I assume one of the other rations has matches for the stove? Or did i miss that? Did you try out the napkins?
@@Limpopo thanks I suspected as much, but was surprised that the field stove was included rather than just the heating fuel tablets. But then most military operations are like that, even if it's your food.
I think Mike is mafioso because he has stuff that no one else can get into the country 🤣🤣🤣 nice review Schlee I want to try the one with the squid 🦑 in ink

Hi Brian, this is one of the nicest comments I've ever gotten 🥹 thank you so much!! 💛
One of my favorite menus. But menu number 5 is my favorite all time Spanish breakfast menu. Great review.

i will definitely try to get the lunch & dinner rations! i've seen those and they look high class delicious!
Great review, I love seeing the MRE from other countries, it is interesting to see how they eat compared to the US.
Kudos on your developing sense of adventure! Definitely a necessity when consuming MREs. Happy Independence Day!
Happy Independence Day, Joel!! 🇺🇸
Great review, Schlee!
thanks Kiwi!!!
All right another vid..happy forth of July little early .
Happy 4th, Ronnie!!
I've always thought that packing a stove in each individual ration is horribly inefficient
Awesome review as always. Love this ration as well. Thks for sharing

I really enjoyed it, as always! The salts threw me for a bit of a loop but that's part of the fun with these foreign rations 🙃
Just eat it. Like candy
Some countries in Europe eat a small breakfast and then eat sametinget bigger later on.
hi, welcome !
Greetings Bob!

I did end up trying the napkins, and they were fine! Pretty absorbent and quite soft!
In the Spanish Army soldiers are given a set of eating utensils; that is why you will not find them in combat rations

You should make a cartoon mre sticker or shirts like the little popsicle guy on your shirt.
That is a GREAT idea! Thanks Scott!!

Did this liquor 🥃 I’m drinking just kick in because the camera did something weird
It was the camera I'm pretty sure 😂 it was cloudy this day and the lighting changes were causing some issues!
Hey cutey.
