I watched these 11 min for three hours, repeated everything while trying it and I think I now mostly absorbed all of the precious information you pack in those 11.31 minutes. I love the wholetoneextention on the diminished scale, the dark F7b9#9#11, and all those drop two things I still have to study better.
Thanks a lot for this great evening that surely improved my pianoskills

You outro slightly reminded me of Stevie’s intro to “You are the sunshine…” or maybe even of the wordless part of “Living for the city”😊 Great rendition and tons of useful tips, Mr Winston! Thank you.

Very informative! I'm trying to learn; pretty much a beginner for many years, and this really helps advance.

The great thing, among many great things about Tony's channel is the welcome vibe one gets when there's no pressure to click and join and give and buy and pay and pay and pay ad infinitum. If other TH-cam channel people are snarky maybe it's cause of the competition. Oh well, I choose
to learn where I feel welcome. Thanks, T.

My favourite ballad when I used to play tenor sax. Many thanks for showing us so many great options. And by the way, the Db Blues was great in between...

Regarding the ending it sounds like a dominant chord with two major triads stacked on top (from tritone and one full step above tritone sharp5 ). Tony did that in his cool arrangement of around midnight on the b flat dominante chord. But he couldn’t really spot what it was in that video either. He just came up with naturally)

the example for going through key with the drop two motions sounds a little like a J. Williams movie theme like indiana jones
