The first story is a great example of people mistaking kindness for weakness and being in a position of authority but wanting to be "friends" with your students or wanting to be seen as 'the cool' teacher. If you give them an inch, they'll take a mile. And they won't respect you, they'll take advantage of you. Both of my cousins are teachers and they are brothers. One is *very* strict, the other does a good job of striking a balance between strict and lenient. They're both good teachers, they just have different teaching styles and approaches to how they teach and what they will or will not tolerate. Teaching is a hard job, especially these days. My generation didn't have to deal with lockdowns and children worried about school shooters so it can't easy for the children either.
Machiavelli says that’s it’s better to be cruel and then show kindness then to be kind and try to be cruel. When you’re kind they take advantage of that and then when u try to lay down the law and punish them they feel betrayed as if you’re being out of line and unfair. But if u start out strict and have 0 tolerance and then ease up and be nicer they’ll show appreciation for it instead of anger.
Story 1: Document and let authorities know. Also, you’re putting your fiancé at risk by not telling her. That kid is dangerous because he is continuing to stalk you. You’re giving him signals there are no consequences for his actions.
Story 2 is why you never give in to peer pressure. Good friends won't push you into doing illegal things. It's sad that he was so desperate to fit in that he ruined a portion of his life.

Hey I recognize the building from the thumbnail! That's the Columbus public library in Columbus Georgia! I grew up there and actually remember when it opened back in like 2006
Its rare that I comment several times on a single video but I just blazed one & yet another entry requires another observation from this guy. The guy that jumped out of the moving SUV was rooting for the driver's incarceration as he even reported & supplied a description to the police regarding that man. What I don't understand though is what did that guy even do that was illegal & warranted prosecution? The OP was the dude who waved down the driver & just automatically ran up & jumped in his car without question. It appears to me that he may have been acting as someone willing to offer help. Perhaps he saw you waving him down next to an inoperable vehicle so he pulled over & was willing to drive you somewhere, maybe a gas station or something. Then once he mentioned how he wasn't sure who Carlos was the OP made the odd, but split second decision to eject himself from a moving vehicle. At no point in his story did the driver who picked him up do anything remotely wrong. Why would OP report someone for doing nothing? Weird.
Idk why but the first story made me so mad like okay bro kindness for people but when it’s putting your own safety in danger freaking say something Jesus that’s how people end up murdered or hurt.
That first teacher is outta pocket. Firstly, it's really difficult to pull off being the "cool" teacher while obtaining the proper amount of respect out of your students necessary to be an effective instructor & conduct a successful learning experience & classroom atmosphere. Oftentimes the cool teacher ends up letting a little too much slide until a mile is taken at every inch which is clearly what occured with the teacher of that story. Secondly, why in the world would you put out your hand & offer a truce a day after catching that student break into your home?! That is just insane! Not only could that have ensured what I described in the beginning of this comment at maximum levels, but you aren't doing that kid any favors by letting such a substantial infraction slide at that age as you are pretty much planting the roots for far worse things to come in his future. Making him feel invincible when he is young & could have had the opportunity to be punished & learned from it before he becomes an adult does something similar, or God forbid worse except as an adult he's not going to be given such a truce & might either be killed by a gun toting home owner, or gets prosecuted as an adult & getting sent off to prison to waste years of his life when it could have all been avoided if you as the responsible adult would have instead used that situation as a learning opportunity. I say this from experience. You see when i was in highschool everyone's favorite "cool" teacher, whom was indeed my favorite teacher since his class was essentially a break from the school day one day walked in on me selling percs so amother student. Instead of doing what he should have done he instead invited me to take a walk around the campus with him real quick, which I did where he provided a very minimal lecture explaining how I shouldn't be doing such things, especially at school. Of course I agreed with him & said what I thought I needed to say to remain out of trouble. Fast forward 5 years or so & the then 21 year old Dustin (me) house was being raided by a joint department 12 man Swat team who busted in my door charging in adorning full tactical gear & weaponry screaming at everyone in my house to "GET ON THE FUCKING GROUND, HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK!" before placing us all in a room handcuffed as they tore through every inch of my house until they found all my pounds of weed, cocaine, pills, & illegal firearms, not to mention I actually lived in not only a school zone, but the very school zone that is home to my very high school. Had that teacher turned me in accordingly perhaps I would have been scared straight before getting charged with 16 felonies not so long thereafter. Yet we shall never know. Anyway, that was just what popped in my head as I was listening to that first entry. Sometimes its better to just be a good teacher instead of pursuing that cool teacher reputation. Similar to how parents probably should be less of a friend to their kids & more of a parent.

The fact that the cops just busted out laughing about the guys in the gear makes me think it isn't that much of a stretch to think you were set up.
Time to settle in for some spooks
The creepy guy in the cemetery was probably the narrator’s dad.
😂 It was effective!
Back to school itself was such a horror story. Glad I'm finally graduated 😅
Story 2: popularity comes with a cost. You'll look back years later, and most of them will not have gone very far in life.
Thank you Joel.
Thanks for the upload during my September 2023 birthday weekend! I just had some A3 Wagyu Nigiri sushi and a dragon roll.
Story 6 just made me sad. 😢
I always picture these brilliant stories, in the high school that I went too lol 🥰
Lol me too
I'm addicted to your content. Can't wait for the next video!
Hey I recognize the building from the thumbnail! That's the Columbus public library in Columbus Georgia! I grew up there and actually remember when it opened back in like 2006
Love the left 4 dead style thumbnail 😂😂
Papa Joel GOAT of narration 💯
Weird.
"I was witterally hitting the gwitty" - LOL 😂 I didn't even know my fiance was listening until the last sentence of the video.
nice video to listen to while drawing
You're just ❤❤
always have mini video camera for proof
👍👍👍
“My tragedy…”
You got busted trespassing. That’s hardly a tragedy.
Spend less time trying to impress delinquents, and more time in English class.
Thank you Joel 🤞🏾🔥
“Interrupt that as you will” perhaps the football player should have done more of his own work
Hey!
Kid in the first story lost his last chance when he broke into your house, imo. Time to teach him "with the sword" and tell the authorities.
Listened 8:36am 18/9/23🇬🇧
Love the Left 4 Dead reference in the artwork
The greatest scary stories TH-camrs keep up the amazing work with your relaxing stories
That guy who was beat and framed as he worked at the college I hope he pressed charges on them guys
Me & my GS love these stories.
Heeeyyy another Dustin.
