Women in their late 30s or 40s seek advise regarding Pregnancy at slightly advanced age.As a doctor , I would say go ahead after explaining how it is different from pregnancy at 30.But if you ask my honest opinion if I would have tried something like this at 40, this is my unbiased opinion.
I am sorry if it made you feel demotivated. Everyone’s life is different. I told about me, my situation would have made it difficult. It might not be same for someone who has more financial and social support than me.
@@maninderkaur614fear monger! I know 6 women who gave birth in their 40s. All of life is difficult you just have to choose your type of difficulty. Sacrifice vs rewards.
Psalms 113:9 KJV - He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD. What people often forget is that God gives people children, whenever He wants.
Honestly this video is another case of a doctor feeling they have expertise in parenting and life advice. I feel bad for you as you seem plagued with anxiety and a lack of self belief. I understand your brain is wired to look for potential risk factors but plenty of women have healthy babies at 40. The risk factors are facts but I think you are extrapolating it.
I have not given life advice or parenting advice :) I have shared my life as I envision it if I had conceived again at fourty . There are many who conceive at 60, even post menopause. What I have told is my story and I might not be as privileged as you on respect of social support, Nany’s , a husband taking care of all your bills . If you feel comfortable and other pregnancy complication which increase with increasing maternal age- please go ahead at any age .your body and your wish .😊 And I am thinking of those risks as I see them so often women who are my patients facing it. I don’t have a reason to believe I can’t be affected and have Super genes. And finally you are getting too judgemental and too soon to know me, what kind of person I am and how my brain is wired.😂
Sure enough, if everything goes well this should do the job. But listen, there's one factor that's usually overlooked that can considerably speed up the process, unfortunately I do not have it at hand, but it can be go’ogled Dobbie Nerkstrol's Infertility Cure, I think.
The medical angle still remains the same but the social angle is different in that case. It is a personal decision and I have expressed the rationale behind mine.
Not a very motivating speech, but I understand that this is just a personal opinion. Of course if in her forties a woman still did not achieve financial stability and cannot count on anyone except of herself, having a baby would be a crazy idea. But hopefully women who want to have a baby and suddenly watch this video, will be not discouraged by it and instesd they will get prepared to every described situation.
Absolutely it is a personal opinion. Motivating the patients is a good idea but on the backgrounds of reality. I would support patients who wish to get pregnant in their 40s which I have done all my life as an obstetrician. But they do need to see the reality and then take an informed decision…… not an emotional decision. Like I would not encourage a post menopausal women get pregnant by donor IVF and will show the pros and cons and still she decides to go for it- that’s her choice.

What about if this would be a first child?

@@kaushikid1yes, you make valid points but the freedom thing works both ways. Some people had freedom for their entire 30s.

Yes she seems a bit obnoxious and insensitive, especially since she’s already aware that women who will watch this are already at an advanced age.
Yes. I think a lot of women didnt choose pregnancy after 40. Society hasnt taken womens childbearing years into account.
