On the topic of NXT being hot, NXT did 725k and a .26 in the key Demo this week. Y'all should bring up as a topic how much of a coincidence it is that while NXT is up about 100k from it's average, AEW is down about the same 100k. It's very interesting. 🤔
If Shane wants to be a pure backstage/off screen role for AEW then id be cool with it. I dont want 2018/2019 Shane where hes on tv every week and mulitple segments.
I love how Swerve brought up sacrificing your personal life and family to be AEW world champ. Those were things Will didn't want to give up and that's why he signed with AEW. That could lead to Osprey not being able to pull the trigger or crumbling under the pressure if he wins.

Shane McMahon as an authority figure would be cool, I’d prefer that over him actually having matches.. Will be too many injured guys.. make him like a COO or something of the company.. a general manager.. he’d be a better on screen boss character than TK.. and could work as a possible antagonist to the Bucks.. damn.. now thinking about it… that would probably eventually need to be a match… the Bucks vs Shane and someone else as his partner 🤔…. But don’t push for it.. really keep him as a boss type character.. perhaps show us what sort of could have been had he actually ran WCW way back when..

Who Killed AEW... Hook - Everyone thought the name McMahon would turn the place around... Shane - I was better that 80 percent of the locker room. The Rock - TNT shows my movies on Saturdays sometimes ... so why not produce this show?
Last night's Dynamite was my first live AEW show! Was hoping MJF would get on the mic at some point, but we got a Mark Briscoe promo, so I was happy. Here's my early, scorching hot take: they have a thoroughly decent episode of Rampage coming.👍
Here’s the pizza argument. If you get a pizza with no toppings you get a “Cheese Pizza.” So therefore removing the cheese off the pizza would just leave it as “Pizza.” A pizza with pepperoni and no cheese would still just be called “Pepperoni Pizza”
As someone who watches AEW on occasion, i find the kinds of matches the more admant AEW fans like the kinds of matches i find on TH-cam channels that show old All Japan and NOAH matches. With their "WWE-lite" presentation, i find it preferable to watch a random match the latter way as opposed to on AEW tv. I like a lot in AEW, but I wonder if others relate to my not finding it very engaging, at least not enough to make it appointment viewing.
To be fair most people are probably a bit young to know Jarrett & hart were friends & aren't going to Google it. On top of aew probably could've at least build him on tv before the Owen cup by having him win a few rampage or collision matches. This was probably the best dynamite episode in a few weeks compared to the last 6 or 7 episodes which I thought were either not good or fine at best. My only negatives were i wish we could go one dynamite without a Jericho segment & I thought adding saraya, Harley Cameron & Anna jay to the mina shirakawa, Toni storm & Mariah may story was really overkill & kinda ruined what was a good segment before they arrived.
Im not for Shane coming back as an in ring performer, but the image of him walking out on AEW programming just like how he did with WCW over 20 years ago would bring some eyes. Other than that keep him away lol
I'm all in on Joe Hendry. I've been lowkey supporting him since the WCPW days and I'm just happy seeing him succeed. He's one of those guys who's "our guy"
I bought my ticket to Slammiversary on the day it was being sold and it was already almost sold out, the only tix available were the cheaper one in the bleachers and that was before we learned about the TNA/NXT angle. So ya I don't think that angle had anything to do with this show selling out. it's also in Montreal which is a good wrestling city.
Aew let Edge come in and take tv time from younger, more deserving talent. Why not Shane O'Mac? Put him in the learning tree. He can match that "get off my tv" vibe they're going for.

Once Hendry got his pop, why delay his elimination? Also, why would TNA let him do anything, risking him being injured. It's his first appearance. He'll build up from here. Save it for a match with meaning. Meltzer is a fraud. Yall don't need to sight him in every story you cover.
