Guys, today I am finally releasing a sequel to THE outpost video on my channel - DARK FOREST. I have been sitting over this for weeks and wanted to create something worthy enough to be called sequel. The original had some very distinct imagery and atmosphere and I have tried my very best to create something that fits to what I had in mind. Hope you enjoy it!
    DARK FOREST BACKSTORY -
You built this place to escape, a secluded outpost deep in the heart of a dark forest. Society had grown too noisy, too intrusive, and you longed for the peace that only isolation could provide. The cabin, a testament to your craftsmanship, stands sturdy and well-equipped, surrounded by a vast array of sensors and cameras. You made sure that nothing could approach without your knowing. Every night, you sit in your command center, a small room filled with monitors displaying live feeds from the perimeter. The darkness outside feels like a protective blanket, welcoming and safe.
For months, everything is perfect. The sensors alert you to the occasional deer or wandering bear, but nothing else. The silence, once a distant dream, becomes your reality. The hum of the equipment is the only noise that keeps you company, a steady reassurance that you are alone.
Then, one night, as you sip your coffee and scan the monitors, a sensor blips. Just a flicker, gone almost as soon as it appeared. You frown and check the feed, but see nothing unusual. A glitch, you tell yourself, and continue your nightly vigil. But the following night, the blip returns, longer this time, accompanied by a strange static on the camera feed.
Days turn into weeks, and the malfunctions grow more frequent. Sensors fail, cameras flicker, and you start seeing things on the feeds that shouldn't be there-shadows moving where there should be none, shapes flitting at the edge of the infrared. Each time you rush outside, flashlight in hand, but find nothing. The forest remains as silent and impenetrable as ever.
You begin to question your sanity. Are the sensors really malfunctioning, or are you imagining it all? Sleep becomes elusive, your nights spent staring at the screens, waiting for the next anomaly. Exhaustion drags at your mind, blurring the lines between reality and hallucination. The darkness, once comforting, now feels oppressive, filled with unseen watchers.
One particularly black night, as you sit in your chair, your eyes gritty with fatigue, you see them-two glowing eyes, staring directly into a camera. They’re not the eyes of any animal you recognize. They're too intelligent, too focused. Your heart pounds as you switch between feeds, trying to find the source. But the eyes vanish, leaving only the oppressive dark.
Fear settles deep in your bones. The sensors and cameras, your shield against the outside world, are failing you. The forest that once promised solace now feels like a trap, each tree hiding something malevolent. You decide to inspect the equipment at dawn, though dread curls in your stomach at the thought.
Morning comes, pale and cold. You venture out, tool kit in hand, to check the sensors. You find them intact, undamaged. Yet the malfunctions persist. Each night the glowing eyes return, closer each time, always watching. Panic gnaws at your mind. You’re no longer sure if you’re being hunted by something real or haunted by your own crumbling sanity.
On the final night, the equipment goes haywire. Every sensor triggers, alarms blaring, cameras flickering with distorted images. You rush outside, heart in your throat, flashlight cutting through the darkness. The forest is alive with movement, shadows converging on your outpost. You swing the light wildly, but it only catches glimpses-pale figures slipping between trees, glowing eyes reflecting the beam.
You stumble back inside, slamming the door shut. The monitors are a chaos of static and shadows, the sensors screaming warnings. The darkness presses against the windows, a living, breathing entity. You realize with chilling clarity that the forest has turned against you, your haven now a prison.
In the final moments, as the power fails and the screens go black, you understand there is no escape. Whatever lurks in the forest has claimed you. The darkness, once your ally, now swallows you whole. The last thing you hear is the splintering of wood, the final barrier between you and the night, as the outpost is breached. And then, silence.

These are the sounds of a dark night, full of despair and pain, fear and hopelessness, because they are close to people who are in Hell.
    Wonderful work.

These videos are great. The atmosphere is perfect. This one in particular looks like a spooky forest type setting where you'd want the curtains closed at night lol.

This world is broken. Lost....we are afraid to admit it. Convincing our ourselves we have a role to play.
Except we follow, whether it be a trend, a rule or a movement. We follow... Like ants to a colony, we obey without thought.
    Influenced or inspired. We follow.
We are lost, because we have no king.
We have order but the ones which enforce it, know no justice.
Many with many, yet we are alone, lonely souls just ticking through time.

How it feels turning 30 as a 90s baby. There's nothing left to hold on hope.

Bruh, i understand but get this . . . if their is nothing to hold onto; its best if you make your own hope - make "IT" hold onto you.
      Its how i keep going.
Our generation will be, the vast majority, single and very much alone; and that is okay because we are searching for meaning beyond the means of finding a partner; and who knows . . . maybe that partner will find us, but if not . . . . then our lives are peaceful and that in itself is our heaven; our personal forest, not of dark but our own . . . light.

We must live day by day.
      No need for despair.
If God sees despondency because of trifles, then He can send real trouble.
Live and rejoice that you have no grief.
I have it of enormous proportions and I continue to live day by day.
