Love this , really interesting and so good on the editing & music , I imagine it’s very time consuming, so great that you’re putting the passion into it. Really awesome Helen 🤩
@@lauragrace1226 thanks so much for you comment. It IS time consuming. Editing is a rabbit hole I can disappear down for days, but I love it. So much to learn and improve. So I really appreciate that you are enjoying it and commenting. Thank you!
Gent is my hometown, I've lived there for more than 50 years :-) Recently moved to a town 15 kms away. But Gent is in my heart, for always, it's the most beautiful city you'll find. I can only recommend going back sometime, but outside of the Gentse Feesten period, ha :-) I'm very curious, where were you staying with your van? Somewhere in Mariakerke, but I have no clue where. My husband and I have a camper, so yes, very curious! I loved your video, always refreshing to see the city through someone else; eyes 🙂
Thanks so much for your comment. Yes Ghent was absolutely beautiful and I think definitely a return trip should be on the cards. What was it like living a town with so many tourists? While in Ghent I stayed in the car park of a sports centre. There were maybe 6-8 vans there and it seemed some were permanently parked there. It took me about 15 mins to ride my bike into the old town. Where have you taken your van? I’d love some tips on places to visit or stay. Maybe we will cross paths some time!
@@notallwhowanderarelost8965 I know you would understand that! I totally stole your idea about overlaying the music from the performer at the pub you were at over the rest of the video. So thanks for that!
I lived in Ghent for 18 years, and it’s always nice to see people discovering and enjoying my former hometown. ❤
@@Wim2600 oh it was so lovely. Lots more things to discover so I’ll have to go back at some point. Thanks for watching
Great work Helen..a little bit of everything once again…including the reappearance of pastries, Belgian dad dancing, and torture……noice.
Is Belgian dad dancing and torture in the same category??
