Aww man, Misawa. It might be hyperbole to say my interest in wrestling died when he did, but that was pretty much the first blow to it. I remember when all you knew about Misawa was he was always at the top of the All Japan rankings in the Apter mags back in the day. (And I STILL think he should have been #1 in that PWI 500 BS they did instead of Dean Malenko!) Finally got a chance to see him when the internet made getting shows so much easier than tape trading, and he exceeded expectations. I don't even bother ranking wrestling matches because Misawa would be in so many of them it'd just be pointless. I still watch his matches with Jumbo Tsuruta and Kawada and Kobashi to this day. Damn I miss him.
I've honestly been amazed at how good avengers version wrestles I had him in a 95% match against canadian grizzly and he came out on top with a backdrop pin while the opponent was on the mat it was a really unique win I have him in my 1990's ajpw stable
I remember the day Misawa died. and I still have the magazines with articles on his death. one in particular shows a black and white photo of him laying on the outside of the ring, with wrestlers and doctors surrounding him, and everyone looks absolutely devastated. it's a powerful image. Makes me cry just thinking about it. Misawa is forever a legend.
Father AxeKeeper good god man, i had a noah magazine up here of his match with joe from 2005. Its still in the plastic and it was quite expensive to get and well when i heard the news of him passing away, i was 7, and even there i felt sad (i was watching wrestling for 2 years by that time)
I remember feeling absolutely horrible for Saito after it happened. Misawa WAS pro wrestling NOAH and to be saddled with that guilt although a total freak accident is something I'd never want to live with.
What a tribute. RIP. I love this version of FPW. I’ve been playing FPW World and FPW D on my iPhone to get my fix wherever I am (and posted a few videos of iphone gameplay). Amazing that you can play such amazing games on your phone.
It's from a mod (Carlzilla's mod suite). You can find it pinned on the Fire Pro World forum on Steam. You can have the camera switch between several different camera angles with that mod. By default (and in the console version), the game has the one default camera angle which you see in most Fire Pro videos.
