@@ScaraMeow520 It’s a long story that you’d need to do the archon quests for but basically he used the gnosis to turn him into a ‘new god’ with the help from the sages from sumeru and fatui since it was all a part of their plan
i know scara is a bad guy, but seeing him begging nahida to not take the gnosis hurts me. it feels like it was the only part of his mother that he have🥲🥲 + im using JP dub so it is so emotional
when he was young, he lived like a human, made friend like a human, got hurt like a human, avenged like a human. After all those tragedy, he assumed the reason why he suffered so much is that he tried to live like a human, and human is weak and humble. then he believed that he should become a god, he believed that was what he made for, which is his destiny. He denied almost all his life to become a god, and we denied all the rest of his life.

Its actually easy. All my characters died in the first phase and the second phase began with all revived. Plus, we have that helper which deals a lot of damage
dude leaps to Baisht once risking their own life (and got smacked lol), i think their current strength matches those of Adeptus, but the current drawback is they cant use that strength 100% of the time, and an even worse 0% while they're being knocked/CC'd which means traveler is still as vulnerable as a dull blade

I thought i was supposed to feel triumphant after defeating a boss. That last moment really got me, i couldn't enjoy the victory after witnessing that..
Funny thing is, Scaramouche vs Traveller without any wisdom or mechs would still beat them. In Inazuma, we did not even stand a chance against him, and we needed intervention or we would have died. He was the closest thing to actually killing us (besides Raiden) in the story, and is one of the few villains who have managed to kill major characters. Scara really did his damage as a villain.
This is the longest, most epic, and most cinematic cutscene up to date. No regrets playing it up until 3 am in the midnight 🤣 (Tho my eyes hurt bad the next day because of sleep deprivation... and tears) Edit: Ow wow, I didnt know that they'll give you a free nahida during this boss fight. I used my lvl 70 one with lvl 40 mappa mare, just for immersion lol
Tbh the way he said "please! Anything but the gnosis" I couldn't help but feel like crying. For the first time he looked to vulnerable and in so much pain as if this is the only thing he had and this is the only thing he wanted to keep to himself. His disparate voice made me wanna say "don't take it away from him nahida." but well I also know it's for everyone's good. But tbh it really hurt my heart🥺🥺😔as if this was the only thing he had a belonging for.
And that is why i'm not pulling for Scara. I lost all respect for him, so desperate to become a god that he depends on some chest piece that's not even his. Pathetic

I love how Genshins archon quests in 99 out of 100 cases take the most extreme of patience to exhaust all the dialoge and still not get bored by it... however, when the finale of a chapter happens, they create some of the coolest and most epic battles out of any video game i've ever seen

I would disagree personally. I have yet to meet a fatui harbinger I like. As much as I like Genshin, the antagonists have all been a disappointment. Except Raiden Shogun. She's the only one that felt like a legitimate threat and an interesting character.

im not a scara stan, but if i was the traveler, i woulda tried to catch scara. I mean the way he begs her not to take the gnosis, then threatens nahida, then tries to reason with her. And once she takes it, he doesn’t even try to fight anymore, he just falls with his head down, defeated.
Right, I actually had to sit there for a few moments after the fight, just to emotionally calm down. I found it so depressing that his eyes and expression died as he was falling, as if he didn’t care what would happen to him anymore. I thought it was a dark hint of suicidal ideation, that without the Gnosis, he believes he has no reason to exist.
Btw the beeg Scaramouche Gundam, when he defeats the shogun (if you bring her), says either: "Your shadow has faded, Beelzebul" or "Godhood is mine, Beelzebul!" Its really cool

This boss fight felt like a pso2 fight, the giant robot looked like something from pso2 and the way scaramouche was talking during it and even some of the music was like pso2

It’s actually nice that Nahida took care of him after the battle like he tried to kill her but she still took care of him. She’s so precious.

This boss is easier than Raiden
Its actually easy. All my characters died in the first phase and the second phase began with all revived. Plus, we have that helper which deals a lot of damage

dude leaps to Baisht once risking their own life (and got smacked lol), i think their current strength matches those of Adeptus, but the current drawback is they cant use that strength 100% of the time, and an even worse 0% while they're being knocked/CC'd which means traveler is still as vulnerable as a dull blade

it's good to see aether in action again, he didn't fight a lot in the last missions so it's good to see how powerful he became after the inazuma quest
Funny thing is, Scaramouche vs Traveller without any wisdom or mechs would still beat them. In Inazuma, we did not even stand a chance against him, and we needed intervention or we would have died. He was the closest thing to actually killing us (besides Raiden) in the story, and is one of the few villains who have managed to kill major characters. Scara really did his damage as a villain.
Aether weakness is sleep gas and other stuff. But ya huge improvement from run scara to kicking his ass when he have gnosis on

Tbh the way he said "please! Anything but the gnosis" I couldn't help but feel like crying. For the first time he looked to vulnerable and in so much pain as if this is the only thing he had and this is the only thing he wanted to keep to himself. His disparate voice made me wanna say "don't take it away from him nahida." but well I also know it's for everyone's good. But tbh it really hurt my heart🥺🥺😔as if this was the only thing he had a belonging for.
And that is why i'm not pulling for Scara. I lost all respect for him, so desperate to become a god that he depends on some chest piece that's not even his. Pathetic

I would disagree personally. I have yet to meet a fatui harbinger I like. As much as I like Genshin, the antagonists have all been a disappointment. Except Raiden Shogun. She's the only one that felt like a legitimate threat and an interesting character.

im not a scara stan, but if i was the traveler, i woulda tried to catch scara. I mean the way he begs her not to take the gnosis, then threatens nahida, then tries to reason with her. And once she takes it, he doesn’t even try to fight anymore, he just falls with his head down, defeated.
Right, I actually had to sit there for a few moments after the fight, just to emotionally calm down. I found it so depressing that his eyes and expression died as he was falling, as if he didn’t care what would happen to him anymore. I thought it was a dark hint of suicidal ideation, that without the Gnosis, he believes he has no reason to exist.
