From an Engineering standpoint, how this Projector is made there is Nothing about it that will cause a person to see a rainbow 🌈.
Projectors that use a color wheel will cause a Rainbow 🌈 effect that some people can see. Although even Projectors with a color wheel 99% of people will Not be able to see the rainbow 🌈 effect.
I have 3 Projectors currently that use a color wheel and I have never seen the rainbow 🌈 effect. No one who has watched these Projectors with me has said: "Have you noticed that your Projectors have a rainbow 🌈 effect?" My friends are Videophiles and if they were able to see the rainbow 🌈 effect they would have mentioned it to me.
Professionals that know how to see it, they will say so in their Projector Reviews: "There is a visible rainbow 🌈 effect in some scenes but it is only noticeable to me when I am looking for it. When I am just watching the video without looking for the rainbow 🌈 effect I don't see it."
*If you are someone who is hyper sensitive to the Rainbow 🌈 effect than you should Not buy any Projector that uses a color wheel. Because the color wheel causes the rainbow effect."
That is what Professional Reviewers say. I have heard them on video say this type of thing countless times.
The people you are talking about are going to see the rainbow 🌈 effect when they are just looking out their window. They will see it daily. They have Vision that is different.

So??? You can buy an ALR Screen. You can DIY a Premium ALR Screen for $200.00.
You don't have to spend $4,000.00 or more on them like most people in the comments think. It is NOT remotely Necessary to buy the one. He has one that costs thousands of dollars. Spending Thousands of dollars 💵 💰 on a Projector Screen doesn't make it better than if you just made one yourself. On TH-cam there are Dozens of DIY Videos on how to do it.
It is actually easier to do it yourself than to put together the kit you are sent for the Expensive ALR Screens. I know because I have done both.
For $200.00 you can make your own. The ALR Screen Material can be bought directly from several manufacturers at low cost. It is the exact same Material used in the Very Expensive ALR Screens you have to put together yourself.

I’m just curious to why some of most projectors don’t do 4k 120fps? I know that’s a lot to ask for but I’m just curious to why that is? Reason why I ask is because the consoles and pcs can push higher then 4k 60fps. Eventually they will surpass that someday so I want buy once cry once projector that will last years to come and keep up with modern gaming.

The reason is the 0.47“ DMD.
It has been around for a few years and is no longer up to date.
New DMDs from TI are expected to be released soon, but that will probably take some time.
The 0.47" DMD is technically only capable of 4K 60 Hz, while the CPU in the Valerion can theoretically run at up to 4K 144Hz.

Seems like a good deal ($1,900) for a decent quality long throw projector. The caveat being the price of the floor rising screen (120" or 180") not being a great price deal at all. At the retail price of $3,500 it would get slaughtered by much higher picture quality long throw projectors from the likes of Epson, Samsung and Ben Q. Let's all keep in mind that a 98" Mini LED (TCL or Hisense) would wipe the floor in Video quality over this particular projector. It is the size of the screen in the immersiveness that it can deliver that would be the key factor in the buying decision. That being the case, the projector & screen price price total would have to be less than $4k to be competitive against large screen Mini LED tv.

These past couple years there have been much better UST choices that I would have loved to get is UST could work for me. All I wanted was something like the Nexigo Aurora Pro or Awol 3000 in a standard/long throw. The Nexigo is a UST DLP with 3k-4k native contrast which is pretty much unheard of in standard throw projectors at the $2000-$4000 price level- until now with the Valerion which is $1000-$2000! (kickstarter only of course)
I just hope it can truly deliver :)

@@ryudoadema AWOL is the Manufacturer of this Projector. The website says so and he said this in his video.
I don't want to go in circles with you. Believe whatever you want to.
The same Manufacturers that make the UST Projectors also make the Long Throw Projectors. Long Throw Projectors have been around for over 100 years. The Technology has a lot of decades lead over the UST Projectors so you will always get more for your Money with them than you do with UST Projectors. Plus there is a Huge disadvantage in the Picture Quality by having the Projector so close to the Screen. There are Numerous Videos that explain this Fact and everything I have said on TH-cam that you can watch.

@@JesusSavesSinnerssorry mate, but the other guy is right… it’s true that comparing quality in both technologies, long throw should have an advantage… but this simply didn’t happen in the past few years, for the most part because UST and laser tv were the most desired from the market and especially because in UST it’s easier to engineer a closed light path with something like a fixed IRIS, able to dramatically raise the contrast ratio… you simply couldn’t have bought, in the last 2-3 years, a LT DLP better then the Formovie Theatre, as an example… Now this, by Valerion, is, to be fair, the third attempt to relaunch long throw, after the successfully launch from Hisense-Vidda and JMGO RGB laser projectors… and it seems a very good attempt, for now, very promising…
