The body of a man is found after spending months in the waters of the Garonne. Francis Delcourt, a former mobster and prisoner, had, shortly before his death, been harvesting grapes at a local chateau. Although he had had a few run-ins with people, it was his ambiguous relationship with Léa Mougins, the daughter of the owners of the family farm, that intrigued the investigators. The investigating team discovered that Delcourt had tried to blackmail his former childhood sweetheart, Catherine Mougins, Léa's mother, who now manages the vineyard.
