A beautiful white fronted, georgian townhouse located in Kensington, London. This six bedroomed property boasts high ceilings, many reception rooms and lovely landscaped gardens.
Inspiration for this house came from the 1998 Nancy Meyres film: 'The Parent Trap'. In the film the house is owned by fashion designer: Elizabeth James and lived in by her, her daughter Annie, father and their butler: Martin.
I have always loved this house... ever since 1998 when I saw the film and have tried many times to build it on the Sims 2 and 3 but failed every time. However somehow it just worked this time and I am very happy with the way it turned out.
It will be perfect for your upper-middle class sims to live in with their family and their butler. The house isn't too big so you wont get lost in it and it feels like a home rather then a museum.
It doesn't come too cheap though and the five story townhouse will set you back just over 500,000 Simoleons.

The Winter Palace, although beautiful is a little too big even for me. But the Palace of Madrid I really quite like. Anyway I may attempt it at some point but I have a few other things on the go at present!
We shall see. Its a lot of work! But I do feel like a new "showstopper" and my Buckingham Palace is a little in-accurate in places and I have a lot more furniture now to play with then I did then! So we'll see. I just need some good floor plans!

I'd love to do Versailles however the lots just aren't big enough i'm afraid! Versailles is huge.. I can just about fit a ... smaller version of Buckingham Palace on a 64x64!
