I have a Bernina 580E machine and I purchased a Bernina Mega Hoop and I follow the instructions but, I was not able to stitch out my selected pattern. Then, I also tried to stitch out an original Bernina pattern. Please would you demonstrate the Bernina Mega Hoop on the Bernina 580E machine. I am thinking that there are other Bernina 580E owners that would also appreciate the demonstration. Sandra Brazell
The BERNINA 580 is not longer in production and I do not have a machine like this to demo. Sounds like you do not have you hoop clicked properly in position 1, 2 or 3.
Gayle is there a way, using the Mega Hoop to put multiple designs from the OESD Pumpkin Embroidery designs so you can do multiple sides of the pumpkin at once and not have to keep re-hooping? I have the Bernina 570QE. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge.
Excellent explanation as usual, Gayle. I am interested in your enlargement of that motif. You sure went past the "20%" rule and got an excellent result. Is that because you used a built-in motif rather than a downloaded or third-party design?
Great video. I always describe in my events,how the mega hoop is a reposition-able hoop on the 5 and lower series machines and explain that but it’s in the midst of a lot of information so I’m sure it’s lost for some people.

My 570 QE has the update for the Mega Hoop, but when trying to embroider a design I made in the Bernina V9 software, the machine should actually go to position 3 for the next embroider point, but it asks for position 1. When I either switch the hoop to position 1 or 3 and tick the checkmark after changing the position, the machine keeps asking for position 3. I can't get it to start embroidering at the next position, which actually is in the 1 area. The hoop is attached correctly on the module. What do I do wrong?
Follow the prompts of what the machine is telling you, not what you think it should do. Make sure when you are sliding the hoop to position 3, it clicks. If things are not seated correctly the machine will not recognize the position.

I tried the other position, when the prompt kept asking for the position. However, it only clicke, when i slided the hoop back to the position in the middle. This afternoon, when I am back from work, I will take the hoop and slide it "dry" to see if there are clicks when I slide it to 1 and 3. It is not easy to slide it though. The sliding doesn't go smoothly (probably b/c it is brand new) and in the machine it is pretty instable due to it's dimensions.

Question. My wishbone clips are very tight to put on. On the side of the hoop that attaches to the machine I’m having trouble fitting them in the grove and then over the metal strip. No room to put them inside the metal strip?
This is FABULOUS!!! I have a 570QE....do I need any additional software in order for it to automatically tell me when to reposition hoop. Putting it on my Christmas wishlist.

You can bring in as many designs as fit. Depending on the model machine you own, you can group but it’s not necessary as all of the BERNINA’s have the select all layer

All bernina machines have the capabilities to enlarger the design to fill a hoop. The mega hoop is no exception. If you have a 7 series or higher, the mega hoop can be used in position 2 without repositioning. Models 5 series, the hoop will need to be moved when the machine prompts you to
Hi I have a bernina b570qe. When I use the megha hoop, it asks me to shift position( as in the video) for example it says 2. When I move it to 2 and hit the tick mark, it continues the same display. Everytime the hoop needs position change, I have this problem. Can you please help? Thank you.
@@TimePass87969 you have to move the hoop until it clicks into place. This is a common error. Squeeze the clamp that hold on the hoop and then it will release the slider. Then stop squeezing the clamp and move to the specific position that the machine promotes you, make sure in clicks in, then follow the prompts. A you have to understand that after you do this, you will still need to select the green check mark.
I love your videos but what happend? It used to be without annoying ads. These new videos are interupted with so many ads and they are too loud.. I just hate ads. ☹️
We do not like ads either, but TH-cam has been showing ads on some of our videos (long story) and we have been experimenting with ads. However, we are nit happy either so we will not proceed with ads for the foreseeable future. Thanks for noticing.
@@tydebna7432 there’s no co trip on levels or anything. It’s like watching Hulu when a super load ad comes up. A trend in advertising back in the day was to record your spots hot (loud) so your ad stood out.

No. Some designs can be enlarged way past 20%. You just always have to stitch a test first.
One more thing, if you enlarge I’m the BERNINA embroidery software, you can go way larger than 20%

Yes. This will work on 8 Series and 7 series without sliding the hoop.

Yes. On the B 790 you do not need to reposition mid embroidery

The BERNINA 560 has a different operating system and it is not currently in the line. We do not make videos on the older machines.
Does this demo, with this machine, work the same on the 880?
There is no need to reposition the hoop (slide it from positions 1, 2, or 3) on the B 880
Question: Can I use magnetic seam guides with my Bernina 1230?
Yes. There are not any magnets for sewing notions that are strong enough to effect the electronics.

What happens if you’re using the mega hoop with a 790 plus machine?
When using the mega with a 790 you simply put the hoop at position 2 and use like any other hoop. No sliding from one position to the next.
