  • From raw clay to glazed ceramic ware. This is an ASMR video of the process. No narration.
I like to share my process so those who purchase my work can see the amount of care that goes into each piece. If you learn something that's great as well! Please let me know if you have any questions. Narrated version out soon as well.

Wow. Your wheel speed when working is crazy fast. Nice pots

Haha thanks! When I first started (I’m absolutely always learning) my goal was to learn how to throw well at high speeds. So I always kept it fast even though I messed up even more probably.

I absolutely love these I watched the process through twice but I'm really curious how did you get the glaze to not be on part of the stamp and the other part? did You Use wax somehow and then wipe it back? I'm really struggling with carvings and things like that and getting the glaze to cooperate and wax is confusing ha ha

Hi! So I glaze everything as one whole piece and then I carefully wipe the glaze off of the stamp. It’s taken some practice to do it so I don’t wipe the details away.

What was the weight you went with for your clay?

Hi! I go back and forth between 1 lb 6 oz and 4 oz. I prefer to do 1lb6oz and then trim a lot away.
