This is why videos with large amounts of views get hit before ones with smaller views, and why songs will get hit IMMEDIATELY on upload, before anyone's even seen them. The bands themselves, 99% of the time, don't even know a video's been hit with copyright. Neither do their labels.

on expert they're pretty close to real life (note-wise only: the drums change assignments like a tom will become a cymbal, and the hi-hat position is reversed), but on lower difficulties not at all.

FC stands for Full Combo (basically 100% accuracy). It is possible to Gold Star things without FC'ing them though. Gold Stars are the next level after 5 stars. Good Stuff Azureitereaction!!!
You're allowed to hit anything in those sections, and hitting the green one at the end (red if you're on the lefty flip) will activate overdrive. Doubling your combo multiplier.

I love this song. It's the only one I memorized and can do well on expert. The chorus part screwed with my timing when I was trying to learn it, but after watching your video I was able to get the rhythm down.
It's true, you are supposed to use your wrists primarily, even though that's not always possible (particularly when you're playing very loud sections or are moving around the set very quickly). You do get used to it, too. I've been a drummer for 11 years now and it's been a while since I've really focused on how much you use them.
great song, ive ever played rock band, but as a drummer for 2 years, this looks quite easy(then again this song is meant to be). to answer your question about the heel on the bass, either way is acceptable. For rock, usually one uses the heel up method, for more power and speed, for slower paced stuff like jaz, usually one uses the heel down method, for precision and power control. for this game, heel up is probably the more practical option, but ive never used the petal so thats my best guess

Okay, you are so amazing. Our family plays rock band but we all are still on medium except my 16 yo who plays guitar on hard. I'm the singer and I don't know some of the songs so we get on youtube to look them up and often find your videos. My husband is the drummer and he sits and watches in awe of you. My guess is holding the pads to the sensors. If your strokes aren't hitting the sensor, it doesn't matter what you're doing, it'll assume you're not hitting the notes.
Somebody's got a program that calculates it automatically, based on the chart. Fills come a set distance after you have enough energy to use Overdrive, and energy is ALWAYS at the same place. Thus, the times you use it, provided you hit all the energy phrases, will always be the same. Now, pathing on Guitar/Bass is much harder. Mostly because you have complete freedom of when to use it, and you can do so many things to get more Energy, like hitting sustains just a tiny bit earlier.

you are hearing that because for some odd reason his videos get flagged for copy right all the damn time. So to keep the video on you tube he must replace the audio with a different song. It is kind of sad.
mustang, for long strokes of pedals just lift and drop your foot on it at godspeed. lol on other type of bass pedal notes hold the pedal down and quickly bring your foot up and back down to avoid killing the feeling in your hamstrings.
I've played drums for roughly 7 years and I have contemplated trying this out for fun. Is it worth it? Also you are extremely good. I can see by your movements just with this that you are a talented drummer outside of this game.
Good Job Man. My trouble spots on drums are the drum rolls where you have to alternate your hands and hit the same note. Could you make a tutorial video on how to get through drum rolls? I would appreciate it and so would many other people. Thank You.
It may be hard to constantly move your arm at first, but if you keep doing songs that require it, you'll gain muscle memory. Then parts like that will be a breeze! =D

Great Video, Great tech. on the drum renovations (Lots find it useful, and many of us have checked all the sites to get more out of the older POS kits lol). The only thing I would have to disagree with is your stick tech. Yeah not important, and your works great for this, but as a drummer of 15+ years, I dont "Choke" the sticks. Not sure if its your tech. or not, but if you loosened the grip some, I think some of your drumming in game might be easier. But thats just my opinion. Mad props 2u!

that is a mod that created for the rockband drums so it will pick up rolls and other stuff
FC is full combo. It means your hit streak is equal to the number of notes in the song.

doesnt matter what grade you in matter how long have you play..and he plays real drums to so gives a advantage as well.
it's broken at the base of the pedal, and it's the default stock pedal.
