- Part 3 of Casey's Dad's Jeep Gladiator we get the Currie JT on the ground for the first time. Finally putting the 42 inch Nitto Tires and KMC wheels on and flexing out the Jeep to see where it might rub. We get the Artec Skidplates added to the build as well as Versatile Wraps gets to work putting the final touches to the JT. Check out all of the action and laughs.

Casey. Dad's Gladiator looks amazing you did a fantastic job. I live in Eastvale, I have seen it on the road before. We just got back from Moab with our Gladiator. I was really happy with how it did. Looking forward to owning a set of Currie Axles one day.
When I was kid in the late 70's 80's and my older Cousins would lift Straight front Hilux Toyota trucks , land cruisers and Put 17" Welds with the TSL 40's & 44 Swampers , just 529, Rear end Gears , long mono tube shocks , Then we found 12 inch Re Arch leafs , 😜 we going Huge 😂🤣

I chose to stick with 37's on mine and it looks great. I didn't want the expense of changing out Dana44's for 60s etc. I went with Bodyguard fenders, bumpers etc. I'd definitely be able to fit 40's. Mine is black with red accents, love what you did. I assume that you guys did an engine swap as well or it's it still running the mini van engine lol. I still have the 3.6L in mine.

How much bump stop are you running to keep the tires out of the flares?
Same as I would with any jeep.. I make it so the axle can tuck as high as it can go. I did trim the fenders though

Is Nitto making two different side lug patterns for the 42"? Haven't seen this pattern like the 40" on a 42". Is it k-spec? Would buy them when they are available again if they are coming in this pattern.
They make a Sticky version and DOT version
Hey man, Do you know if they are making the 42” with the 40” sidewall - sticky or non? I’ve only seen them with the 37” sidewall. Thanks Casey.
Did you guys super charge it? And how much you guys spend on upgrades
I have not done a super charger.
i thought the 42's didnt come with those side lugs and came with the normal side lug design? i thought it was only for the 40's on 17?

You guys should have SHOWED US the final product after cutting and the wrap
We did 0 cutting on the Jeep. Only trimming of plastics I did was the plastic fenders as it doesn’t have rubicon fenders on it
@@CaseyCurrie - what I was saying is a walk around the truck when it was done to see the wheels, tires and wrap, you guys didnt do that

I’d like to be able to fit some 35s on my gladiator. I don’t ask a lot.
They will fit with no lift. I had them on my Jeep for a long time

Yes. I have Kmc wheels; Nitto 35s and it doesn’t run anywhere. Now I’m not flexing it to the max but I drive it every day and no issues. Totally stock suspension and axles
