Actually in the dub it was acknowledged that he DOES know. Naruto poored his memories into his chakra while enhancing Boruto's rasengan. Everything we saw flash by, was stuff Boruto saw flash by. Boruto's line in the dub goes "everything he went through... to get to this point." and even Naruto wikia acknowledges this.
