Headbangers Ball used to pull crap like that all the time. You wait all week to see some different videos and then they play the same Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, etc ... videos they play multiple times a day anyway. The show is 3 hours once a week, and they filled half or more of that 3 hours with the same crap i could have seen any day of the week at any time of that day.
I don't miss Headbangers Ball in the slightest. It was just a journey into frustration.

Mr. Mister is actually pretty cool. I enjoy Welcome To The Real World (which features Broken Wings, but also Is It Love and Kyrie, all excellent) in its entirety.
Fun fact: The drummer for Mr. Mister was none other than Pat Mastelotto, who would later play on those last few (proper) King Crimson albums.

I loved Slayer and Guns and Roses as well. Say what you like they all ran their own race unlike so many PRODUCT bands. But everyone should like what they like. KYUSS were great as well IHMO. Much better than KISS and Iron Maiden even if those guys can play. There first two albums with Di Anno were good after that it was 12 year olds music and just more of same but lamer. Same with AC/DC. I saw GWAR around twenty years ago in London. At the end of the show I and another ten or so people exited the venue together, covered in all manner of colourful bodily excretions. Passing by was a group of nuns. Their expressions shall remain fixed in my memory forevermore.

I was probably at that show! I saw them in 1990 in London's Dome and every year after that. Although I kind of agree that their music fell way short; those first 4 shows, when they had incredible special effects including a baby being born out of the woman's belly, a sword slicing the head off a cop with a head like a pig and the cavemen with spiky cocks bigger than half their bodies gobbling up the remains and the giant dinosaur were mind-blowing. People would scream like banshees for the first 15 mis.-Some just in joy and others(1st-timers) in horror from being sprayed with gallons of blood, guts and brains. At that moment in time they were the most fun you could have at a Rock concert, regardless of the music.

KUFO also played mostly grunge bands and Tool, Creed, Nickleback type stuff. If they did play metal groups it was seldom and they insulted it by calling it butt rock. Butt rock my ass!

Ryan Gioia I was a hard rock fan of of the first generations of bands from late 60s to mid 70s. By the time the second generation came around I was all metalled out. It was like I heard it all before and also were a bit to loud, heavy, extreme for me. Also didn’t like the leather, spikes, tough guy look. That’s not to mean Priest never had some great songs.

They pulled Pop Evil off of their European headlining tour to try and save Poison’s out door pavilion tour. The Pop Evil fans had the majority of the lower bowl at Cincy’s Riverbend. Cheap Trick was so awful, old, and painful that the first 28 rows of people walked out. Plus the only gave Pop Evil 30 minutes.
