Amazing 5, as always. For some reason, the kennyS black bars were half stretched. Either way, glad to see him back on the pro scene. Those shots in T-connector where he jumps down ladder, quick scopes so fast that it looks like a no scope, then kills anamek in a millisecond lol

Res have nothing to do with how good you are, its just a preferece. Copying people don't make you better. other than placebo for a while maybe

I've been playing with 16:9 resolution already for 6 months. Once I wanted to change resolution, but your video convinced me not to do this. Wider vision is important for me. When I spectate friends with 4:3, I see their blind zones. Great edit as always.
ive been playing 4:3 for 10+ years and i can tell you that experienced players using 4:3 wont peek anything (usually) where they have a blind spot... cause thats over peeking or over extending.
or if they do, they are aware of it and usually flick to the blind spot.
@@JohnW704 of course, 4:3 has own advantages, for example spray becomes easier. But 16:9 fits to me better. Strafing becomes easier, cause game seems slower. Models in 4:3 become wider, but they also move faster. And honestly, Ropz inspired me to change resolution to 16:9. When I saw his demos, his movement impressed me. When he clutches, he uses wide vision advantages. Resolution is an own choice of everyone. And the most useful advice is choose comfortable for you. Same advice works with sensitivity as well

@@rijkaaaard I agree. Same with awping on black bars. I don't know how sh1r0 became one of the best AWPers in the world with black bars. Sometimes I'm a second AWPer when I play with friends. When I bought AWP on mirage, it's hard to kill palace from jungle, when enemy's model isn't wide. It's just an example. But flicking is more comfortable for me on 16:9

you should also include resolution of their monitor, because I think Niko has 24.5' which makes his resolution much better to look at than on a 27'+
I have 27 and when I tried his resolution few years ago, my eyes couldn't watch the screen how blurry it all was

I was wondering why all the pros use such a narrow aspect ratio? Why not ultrawide?
Many pros also use normal 1920x1080, it's all a personal taste. People might like blackbars because it's smaller area to look around.

A lot of the older players use 4:3 because they have played CS since 1.6/source when 4:3 monitors were the norm.
Then some younger players copied their setups and got used ot then became pros.

I play at 2560*1440 resolution. What is the cons of playing at this resolution?
I'm testing 1440p and i think it's really good, i can see enemie's head easier than in 4:3 resolutions. I think the con of 1440p is lower framerate and higher input lag
