Oh my word, I've never seen a service center that looks anything like that. . No idea how you didn't buy everything?? The craft show bought back lots of memories of my days going to paper craft events. There are so many awesome crafts aren't there? It always amazes when people say they are bored or don't have any hobbies. I used to take my kids to pop culture expos but nothing these days.
Ahh Lisa, loved your vlog. I wish there were craft shows near me, (Whitley Bay on the North East coast) I love crafting but only craft once a year starting in September, for our local Christmas fair where I sell my goods. I make christmas/ garden scenes and put them in cloches, this year I'm attempting shadow boxes. My husband is an amateur woodturner, who makes amazing bowls, christmas trees, spurtles (a Scottish implement for stirring porridge, sauces and the like), he really enjoys it, and they sell well at the christmas fair. I love miniatures, but find it very difficult to get, other than buying online. I always love your vlogs, and I am making your soup nearly every week, which I commented on when you made it. Have a fab weekend, best wishes Susan xx
I am going to a craft show with my friend today. Here in the US, they are more people selling the crafts they make, not selling craft supplies. That would be the Stamp and Craft expo--which usually is always the weekend we have to move my son back to university, so I haven't been able to go for the last couple of years.
It was such a fun day, I really enjoyed it - great to meet you and Ade again and also meet up with the girls. I think we were talking so much that you forgot to blog - lol. Love that service station.
Awe wish I were there with all the girls. My question is about the food why is it that there seems to be so many savory items , especially your and Ade’s favorite sausage rolls and your onion rolls? We have a company called Boars head cheeses OMG so yummy and lots of variety. We have a lot of shows here we call them expos craft ones, comic, reptile, tattoo , and for the young kids there is a dinosaur expo. Each expo is twice a year early feb and then September. The cocoa bombs are so much fun with hot milk, next time you and Ade go you have to try them !!! Sending lots of hugs xx
I love craft shows, too! About twice each year, I drive 5 hours from my house to stay with my sister-in-law. We spend that weekend attending a Scrapbook weekend. The company rents out a hotel event room, put lots of tables and chairs in the big room, and all of the attendees bring our craft material and work together. Lots of fun. The Scrapfunattic company hosts it, and they bring lots of their papers, inks, just all sorts of scrapbook things to sell. Usually, we have about 100 women there, working together and getting to know each other. Some of our family also join us, so we have several tables that are ours for working and visiting.
I’m gutted I didn’t go to the show I only live 10 mins away from the NEC I will definitely be there next time. Glad you enjoyed it. The cheeses looked fantastic xxx
Totally agree I love stopping and shopping they make a mean coffee ! Love the food but it is pricey ! You should try Daylesford organic farm shop that’s my favourite when I visit my sister !
We watched the TV series and as you know its not too far from us. The kids are now an age we can leave them for a few hours so hubby and I have this as a date night location.
What a wonderful farm shop/service station ! And happy Birthday Lisa xxxx

It was a great TV serious Lisa. They have done 2 series now about the farms shop and about the people who work there.
Yay! I found it. Those Campers were so cute. I’ve used Nibble Nose Cheese before. 💜
Always think of you when I see campers x

The best sausage rolls I ever had from a gas station in Ireland. I tried recreating them for St. Paddy's Day this year!

That craft show looked amazing! Was it free to get in or did you have to pay and get tickets? I'll see if I can attend the next one. 😊
You should try the fare at Cheltenham race course or studley castle they have artisan food ! Blenheim Christmas market !
