- Salt and Fresh water fly pattern which I mainly use for sea bass, but it is also excellent on black bass and perch.
the video version is slightly weighted but can be tied without additional lead, sometimes instead of lead I use a tungsten bead.
this pattern works perfectly both in still and flowing waters…

May I kindly check with you, do you pre-mix your resin colors and store it? or do you only mix it when needed?
I am having trouble with my resin splitting with the powder after storing it.
Thanks! I always keep some resin with some color ready ... but only for small needs ...

WOULD IT NOT BE BETTER TO APPLY A SMALLER AMOUNT OF RESIN AND CURE IT TO ELIMINATE THE POSSIBILITY OF THE ERRORS/MIS-SHAPING AND HELP WITH THE OVERALL STRENGTH AND DUABILITY OF THE LURE?
Yes David for sure But but I prefer this way because it is faster for me ... with regard to strength, I assure you that it does not affect anything if you take care of the last layer of transparent resin (at least on this type of flies)

Se podria hacer para que pese 25 gramos? Con hilo de plomo?
Se podría con un anzuelo plomado, incluso se podría intentar hacer que pesara 25 gramos con hilo de plomo pero en anzuelos más grandes casi seguro con lo que todo el conjunto crecería considerablemente, yo lo haría con una cabeza plomada y en lugar de tanta resina usaría más pelo que después sellaria con resina, más fácil y sobre todo más barato
