SHE IS
Ariane Grande's version is very sexualized. Aurora got the song from the radio show and should make a cover out of it in 30 minutes. She didn't choose the song.
As Aurora likes to do, firstly she made a slow version of it (mainstream pop in a piano version) and secondly because she did not agree with some lines of lyrics and she does not sing anything she does not stand for, she threw out various lyrics and replaced them with the nanananana.
Aurora gives the song what it never had, feeling and soul.
Not only is she a unique artist, but also a unique human being - you might want to watch some of her interviews. She has a great sense of humor and is a very intelligent, spiritual and caring person.Another great way to learn more about who she is would be the Haik documentary which ends with a lovely concert in the woods near the house she grew up in.

Her authenticity is just magical. We may be the Warriors and Weirdos, but she is definitely Queen of the Weirdos. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Most of us real die hard fans of Aurora love her because she is simply "Real". She doesnt pretend to be someone she isnt, only herself. Extremely refreshing! You nailed it when you said she is herself!
Altho......if she came out and was like, "ok guys....brace yourselves. but.....I'm actually a HUGE Trump supporter and very religious and conservative....and all those songs? they were basically just jokes. also I can't stand wine and bread and cheese. and i'm incredibly extroverted....i party all day every day."
Honestly....I would double over with laughter and be in awe at the single greatest con artist I've ever witnessed. Thankfully, there's literally zero chance of that happening. But it would be hilariously awful lol...

I really loved your reactions and all the comments. That is why they were not too long for me - I also can only agree with your observations. And for sure i know more about Aurora in that moment then you, as this is my favorite artist and i watched many interviews and know all her songs etc, but even then your observations match mine :).
About performance: as far I know her covers in P3 station are made in a very short time (like within a hour). And they do covers to the songs they even did not know before. Not sure if they can choose from more then one or not. That is why they have some notes (you can see it on keyboard and in the hand of backup singer). And it is not like "karaoke" cover but she changed this song completely and it is almost like a new song. You can see Aurora stamp on the song. Also this "nanana" parts are instead of some part of lyrics which I guess did not match to her vision or interpretation of the song. Original of this song is very sexualised and she changed a feeling for the song.
I totally agree about how amazing Aurora is by the way she channels the story of the song. Also her power to own a song and create a very authentic version of it. Besides her wonderfful voice the production is very minimalistic and by that the song gains even more strength.
As a Norwegian we are always happy to see Aurora 😎❤️🇧🇻

I totally agree with Dominica. Aurora is unique. She is a pure artist who does not need artifice, publicity or media coverage. She manages to remain herself despite her growing success. He is a real elf who sends us deep and powerful messages with the face and voice of an angel. I can't wait to see her in concert next week. A year of waiting is too long! Like your reaction to Aurora. That about how she are She is always take the song and with a warm heart she make it her own. That´s the magical with her. I been to a concert by her yesterday and that´s the third best thing a done for the hole of my life. She and her bandmates are making something magical and beautiful. Every time the went on the stage.
As part of the P3 live show artists (Aurora and her band) are given a song to perform and they have 1 hour to rehearse then perform it live. Truly magical. Thanks for the great reaction.
This was from a radio show where they have an artist do a cover song, but they don't tell them what the song will be in advance. She had 30 minutes to write and perform this arrangement. She later said she's not a fan of Ariana Grande but she did a great job and changed it from a trashy pop song to something melodic and dreamy. She's a magician.
Aurora actually didn’t choose the song. It was picked for them on the spot to rehearse a cover in 1hr for a TV show. Just shows the true talent of all of them. For me this ensemble of band members for Aurora were the best. Magnus (the persussionist) has stayed with her but the other 2 have moved on to do their own things after a few years with her. It was a sad moment for me.
I think there are many who think the same. But we must not despair, but give the new ones confidence and hope they will come in eventually
@@hakanandersson1276 of course not to be discouraging of the new. But they need to build their musical chemistry a bit more yet still. These 3 just had a magical chemistry - not sure if it was instant or well developed over time. It was just a perfect fit.

To describe Aurora is simply she is the essence of what music should be all about,
music for her is her life every song she writes comes from deep within her soul
it’s why when she sings you feel that you are right there inside with her feeling every emotion and seeing what she sees
But what I love is she has never craved to become a mainstream artist she has always despite pressure from her record label stayed true to her own beliefs about what music means to her.
It’s why her fan Base love her so much and why she loves them equally for she knows how much they mean to her.
To have her music,her words of poetry in our lives is exactly what her mother told her as she started her journey when she said “your music can be a medicine for the whole world” what a wise mother she is. Aurora we love you❤️
I love the way she plays piano.....and this song is a perfect example of what I mean.
She has SUUUCH a delicate touch. Almost like a cat pawing at something....swiftly and accurately, but barely gracing it.
She almost seems to play the piano like it's just something her fingers happen to be dancing on. Like everything else she does, there's such an _effortlessness_ to it. It gives her piano playing a real effervescent flow and brightness. Love it.

Part of what makes Aurora so fascinating to listen to and watch.....is that you can tell SHE is fascinated by and in love with music itself. The deep profound mystery of how mere vibrating air molecules....can touch our very soul to the core. Aurora clearly feels that and it shows. It shows in her own music. And it's compelling to see/hear.
You should really react to this : AURORA covers The Beatles 'Across The Universe' for Like A Version. You will love it for sure. Her voice is pure perfection in this one !

I like this cover because you can see so much of her personality and her uniqueness. Who can multitask as well as her? Lol dancing, singing, and playing piano at the same time. She is so smart and wise. I love her concerts because you always leave with some some wise words. She always tries to bring people up! I saw her when she first started her career and then again this past June. Most peaceful and beautiful experiences. And speaking of fame, she almost quit being an artist. She was once asked if she wanted to be so famous like Katy Perry, she said “no”. That it’s not a normal way to live life! When she was discovered by her management she refused the proposal of being an artist. Her mother told her that her music made her feel many things, that she share it with the world. To not keep it to herself, that’s why she became a singer. But I do feel that if she becomes more and more famous, she might retire.

In the beginning she actually didn’t want to be an artist, but her mom convinced her that she could help people with her music.
Aurora loves to sing for a small audience, she also likes to see everyone.
In her concerts, in between songs, she’s talking to the audience. She has a great sense of humour which not everyone gets 😅
I recommend watching the documentary “Once Aurora”, you really get to see her uniqueness and how much work she puts into her music 😍
It’s also very raw, and you get to see her having panic attacks. She doesn’t like to hug, but sometimes she feel like she has to.💕

I subscribed to you guys after watching all your Aurora reactions in a row. You have no clue how I love your reactions and insights, how you don't stop the video too much, but also stop it just enough to input smart and well put thoughts which give something else to the video.
