I have the same car, lots of fun and even more fun when you do some simple mods. - KW coils - lightweight wheels - k&n Carbon airfilter whalepenis - SRS manifold - EK9 back strutbar - S20 short shift transmission - Luk clutch - gutted trunk Pushing around 130-140 hp now and that's a lot of fun when you go touging.
Not worth it. Often iridium spark plugs cause miss firing n other problems on old cars, Its very common mistake that people calls me with. Stating that they replaced entire fuel system, ignition system and car misfires. Replace iridium plugs with regular NGKs and everything fixed. Just get Honda's recommended spark plugs. ( In owners manual they list two types - colder and hotter spark plugs for different style of driving). If U need spark plug codes I can check my owners manual

Hello, I do not own the EK3 anymore, but as far as i can remember, you don´t need to buy the 5 to 3 pin adapter, i´ve had only OBD Scanner and it all works fine for me :)
@@mikeek4444 Ye, something like that :) Nothing special. I´m using that car to work and stuff. It´s a daily car. Those were the days when I didn't have a Type R FK8 :)
engine's fine but the gearbox is pure trash for performance driving. way too long ratios, but it was supposed to be an economical motor, so we can't blame honda for that :p

Wow she pulls real nice compared to my lil d14 ej9, have been considering swapping the ek3’s d15z6 vtec head and ecu onto my car. Seems worth it
d16z6 intake and different header she'll be just as fast
Amazing, an EK3 is already enough I see.
it feels slightly faster than a CR-Z, for sure on the straight
the sound is great, is it stock engine or what?
Thanks.. Engine has minor changes like Iridium Cangles and K&N Air Filter.. The Exhaust - Black Cat produce quite good sound
@@peterhorak2964 Candles = spark plugs ,but thx for info
Maybe remember spark plug (candle) number and brand? Searching new spark plugs for my ek3. Thinking about iridium ones.

mam ek4 VTI a som z Val. Bel :) perfektná cesta že?
Na blízku je Homôlka podľa mňa najlepšie čo môže byť. Málo áut, cyklistov a perfektný asfalt. Tak niekedy môžeme zajazdiť ;)
Does it go open loop in 4th 5th gear at low throttle, because mine does it and starts to hesitate like fuel cut
