    My Rad 5 is a beast for bowhunting with the downtube. A new seat with a shock absorber is a must. Love my Rad 5 . How long would a battery last on E bikes ? Do they loose their power after a while? My second season with mine still fine. !!

    Chris your video's are the best, but I've watched so many E-bike video's I'm confused on what to get. First it was the Himiway escape, then it was the Lectric x Premium, now it's the RadExpand 5. Geez it would help if I could just ride all 3, but that's not an option, help me out.

      Thanks, there are many to choose from. It's a blessing and can be frustrating.
      I can't really tell you which will be best for you.
      Just determine what kind of riding you'll be doing and pick the one that best suits that.

    Hey Chris - Love your videos. I actually just bought an expand 5 and have been enjoying your views. Come to find out you’re down Bend, one of my absolute favorite places and somewhere I hope to be riding at soon. I’m here in the PNW also, just across the river from Portland in WA

    Hi Chris! Great video, just purchased myself a Radextender 5 also. I do have a question. The throttle speed is just walking pace.. Why? I don't know how to get acces to the full potential of the thruttle speed. Did you adjust something? Thanks!

      Hi Gregory, you should just fit it. Your legs may not get full extension if you have longer legs, but it's an ebike and doesn't have to fit completely perfect.

    Great vid, thanks for sharing. I was wondering if the RadExpand would be able to support a pannier in the back rack? Having almost 55 lbs for back cargo it's great but it does look like the pedal might clash into it. Also, can you pls share how tall does the wheel end up being? from floor to fender I mean. Cheers!

    • @PedalWithPower
      @PedalWithPower  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you! You can easily set panniers far enough back on the rear rack so that you don't hit them when pedalling. I'll do a video soon, showing how.
      It's 23 inches from the floor to the fender.

    We just finished putting together our RadExpands. I noticed that you were shifting with right hand. I am at a loss on how or when to shift on the ebike. I have been riding regular bikes for number of years. I have tried to find information on how or when to use the shift and micro shift on ebikes - but no such luck. Could you perhaps suggest a link. Thank you. We enjoyed the video and look forward to one on the RadExpand

      Thank Missy, I'm excited for your ebike journey! Here is a video I did about the Lectric XP 2.0 for shifting and my recommendations are the exact same for the Rad Expand. Just the shifter looks a little different, hope it helps!

    Unfortunately the RadExpand 5 is a little misleading. In Canada you can only get 500 watt motor not 700 like you claim. I wish you point this out. All Rad bike in Canada is only 500 watt motor not 700 watt
