I was very new to salsa and had no idea who they were, but by the end of the class Oliver was my favorite Salsero! And to this day he remains my favorite! Johnny Vasquez teaches on 1 and many do not give him much credit because of it. But he is a family man, great wife and two kids. His little daughter is becoming a crazy good dancer herself. And among the 5 I have seen live and had lessons at Salsa Congress, Johnny is the best teacher of the bunch. No arguments with 7 others. I just have never heard of your 3rd and 4th picks
Yoaniss is a monster! His rumba and son (classes, performance etc) are absolutelly breathless. Osbanis has great playfull style and his feeling of the music (he has really nice musicality classes) is just a briliant. It does worth to mention Yanek Revilla (im such a fun of his rueda performance), Israel Gutierez, Karelia Despaigne
I think The King of Timba, Roly Maden should be in this list!!! Absolutely!! If you can, go and see some of his videos, for me he is one of the best dancers in the world!

Good list, thank you. Personally, I look at those top salseros' style and technique as I would look at top models and their clothing. One one hand, a different model can make the same clothes look different. On the other hand, when I myself try the same clothes (I previously liked on a model), I dislike this or that part of the garment, depending on how it fits me or my newly gained curves :)

When I attend Salsa Congresses, Johnny Vasquez is the top attraction over many on the list and missed, but mentioned. Best classes, because people leave his two hours with new knowledge and skills. And he is one of the most humble and kind human beings I have ever met.
