I never did like the devilfish... until I made the Aqua Griffin. You inspired me to pick up the game again when I noticed Master Work has a similar silhouette to the Jet Vermilion, and for that, thank you.
...try the devilfish machines with Grandpa's Old Reward Settings being two 'lines' to the left of full Max Speed, right on the point where the audio cue plays. At least there I've still been able to get 1108 max speed consistently, but I have a better margin for handling
