736. Krutihlav obecný, Eurasian Wryneck, Wendehals , Вертишейка, Krętogłów zwyczajny

Krutihlav obecný (Jynx torquilla) se na začátku jara 2019 snažil nalákat samici do některé z ptačích budek rozvěšených na naší zahradě. Několikrát navštívil i obsazenou budku vrabce polního (Passer montanus), který už měl v budce mláďata. Krutihlav vyhazoval z budky výstelkový materiál. Naštěstí mláďatům se nic nestalo a rodiče v této budce letos vyvedli úspěšně už 4x mláďata. Poslední mláďata opustila budku 15.8.2019.

Krutihlav je jediný náš šplhavec, který na zimu odlétá na jih. Také se jedná o poměrně agresivní druh. V naší zahradě se několikrát snažil zlikvidovat hnízdění vrabců polních ve staré budce. Naštěstí tato aktivita mu nevyšla, vrabci úspěšně vyhnízdili. Těší mě váš zájem. Pozdravy Jarmila
