Great channel! My son has had jeeps so I thought "why not". Just bought my first Wrangler and I can't wait to hit the trails and get some camping done! We're in the Adirondack's of upstate NY and the jeep serves double duty for me having the 4wd for driving in the snow. Watching your videos gives me different ideas to try - thanks!
I had a 1/2 pint of heavy cream in the fridge and I was thinking I should use it up before it went bad...so I made butter while watching the rest of the video! Thanks Ron!

A few years ago we were camping at a park in Pennsylvania, I heard a noise and turned to see a trash panda scurrying across the picnic table with the strap to my camera in his hand! I got there just before it crashed to the ground. He fought me for it, then my son traded him some Cheetos for the camera! Great video! I really like the light.
Haha! I'm glad you were able to make an even trade for your camera! Fighting with a raccoon while camping makes for a story you won't forget.

On your asparagus - try grilling in dry skillet instead of frying in butter. You will get a tasty char.
We will try that.
After you shake it, you need to kneed it in a bowl to get it more concentrated butter and buttermilk. Thats why yours is fluffy, no kneeding.

If you shake the jar harder and shake it longer you will get the liquid or butter milk.and the butter looks a little differently.

Raccoon story, My friend Mary at Girl scout/Brownie camp yrs and yrs ago caught her first fish and put it in a bucket of water. Later on she saw a raccoon washing his hands in the water. She thought it was so cute but found out he ate her first fish. We were about 8-9 yrs old. She cried and cried all day. To this day we still laugh about it. We are in our mid 50's.
Now that's quite the story! I had a raccoon take my marshmallows while making s'mores as a kid!

The Overland Florida Food Channel.
Set up camp at the local park. A camper set up his tent beside me then left to visit friends. When he returned he was mad. Asked if I saw anyone go into his tent and was missing a bottle of whiskey. Next morning he found his grocery bag behind the tent minus the hot dogs and buns. But he found his whiskey intact.
Haha. Dang ole raccoons.
Are you camping on the outskirts of the Park? I have been in there once to look around but I didn't see the primative campsites like yours. Food looks great! Thanks for the video.
We were site #99. Right on the middle of the large loop. Maybe it's just trick photography. We were between two campers.

I really wanted to get into camping. Love your videos. Where is a good place to go near Polk county Florida.
I live in Polk. Hillsborough River State Park and Colt Creek State Park are good.
[Trash pandas] We had a one gallon jug of fiddler crabs and the raccoons got ahold of it in the middle of the night and played soccer with it all night long lol. we where at Fort DeSoto
Ft. Desoto might be the worst park in Florida for Raccoons.

It's an add on. The Tent room snaps to the awning.

I don’t know if someone has said this yet but you can speed up the process to make the butter by putting in a bar strainer coil or protein shaker coil/ball in the jar. ^^v

i hate raccoons,, they scare me..they are not afraid of anything..even with a campfire going..my dog was definitely not a happy camper too
They definitely will approach anyone at anytime. They are really used to camera feeding them all the time.
@@OverlandFlorida i have gone twice to HRST and both times became traumatized by them..won't go back..and another place with over run raccoons is Ft Desoto..won't go there either

Had a raccoon climb in bed of truck and start turning up beer cans at 3am, woke up from tent looked in truck he was in mid swig out of a Coors can. big bastard hissed at me and slowly climbed back out of truck.
