I am willing to see the mistakes I have made and learn from them. This song just reminds me I am a survivor and I don't have to be anything to anyone but myself, and I only need myself. Putting something that holds meaning to me, enduring the pain, finding love for myself. This is who I am, and love it or leave it, but I am no longer your pawn.

My ex used to beat the crap out of me, he had me trained like a dog, and left me with nothing in the blink of an eye. I was left holding a dog leash and had to learn to live in my own. But he didn't break me, my life is beautiful now and I couldn't have had what I do today with him in my life.
I beat the shit outta mine. He only hit me once. I was stuck on wtf and he got away with it- then when he tried it again later I lost my shit on him. I was special ops in the service. He told people two guys jumped him. No regrets
