2023 and its still as good when it came out in the 90s. As a child of rock I've been going to shows since before I was a teenager, and I just saw Bush live yesterday and this was one of the greatest crowd sing-along moments I've ever witnessed!
This is my childhood summed into one song. I miss the 90s soo much . And I'm screaming this in representation of the rest of our crew. Long live the 90s ....
The music today isn't as cool for sure. Some of us like me ended the century for graduation. Rock music changed after 2004 though . Everything Sounds the same . Rock on every one
Just lost a really good friend in his sleep last night. He struggled with addiction the 15 yrs i knew him. We had a 2 year stretch of some really good times. Even though we werent the friends we once were all the memories are flooding back today. Thanks Daryl. It was fleeting, but what a ride old friend...this song popped in my head right away even tho i havent heard it in years
mega77CHAVEZ 6 months late too but sorry for your loss man... I've lost many friends and family to drugs and it's very painful.. I still laugh and sometimes cry when I hear certain songs that remind me of a lost love one... Hope your doing good and getting on with your life.. Keep it rockin man..
mega77CHAVEZ I'm sorry for your loss. Reminds me of my best friend too, he died a week before my birthday this year and we struggled in and out of addiction together. Love you Stephen ❤
This was the last era of good rock music. Feel lucky to have experienced it in its prime. Kids today will never know how Kool it was to walk in to a music store to buy it on CD or cassette tape.
Born in '86, so I grew up with my parents introducing me to Beatles, Zeppelin, the Animals, CCR, and then I remember when GnR, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Bush, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Green Day, etc, back when there was Rock stations and there wasnt this prevalent, absurd paranoia about being mainstream. Then Woodstock 99 showcased a lot of the bands that was my generation. So I'd being an 80s baby was the best for rock exposure.
I remember rolling up to school in my first new car jamming this tape. Yeah the 90's had tapes and CDs. Then I jammed Deftones and Im a Deftoner for life❤
I was born in 98 so hardly a 90's kid but God bless the 80's 90's and early 2000's I totally agree man bands like Bush, Nirvana, metallica, ACDC, Stone Temple Pilots, Bon Jovi, Pearl Jam. What a time to be alive
The last time I heard this song was exactly 7 years ago .. it was in my dreams till I woke up this morning never even knew all the words really just a verse till today... ✨✨ I love waking up to songs out no where lol it's beautiful ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️ cuz they always end up having soooool much meaning to me...
Saw Bush perform this song live. They're pretty damn good live. Came back out and did an encore after a 45 minute performance, forget what song but it was great. First concert I've ever been to, and was surprised to find Bush at a thing called Ribfest in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Bunch of underground bands there but Bush and Fuel... fuel whom never performed(who I went to go see.)
It rained out for like 30 minutes, must of been on a real tight schedule or something so they just didn't perform. They were playing later last August but for some reason they didn't play there.. my mom was pissed lol.
Love bush! All of the 90s rock was amazing and I’m blessed to be part of it and still rock it on a daily. Helped me get through my daily struggles like getting high and coming down. 90s kids. Tool Alice n chains nirvana thank you
My mother and I went to xfest in Noblesville Indiana a few years ago. Bush co-headlined with Soundgarden. Best concert I have ever been to. Bush is amazing live.
Saw these guys last night at the Riviera theater in Chicago. Wow, these guys are amazing live. It almost sounds like they were in studio recording at 110db. Gavin Rothsdale did something really cool and actually went into the audience both on the balcony and at the floor level. Definitely one of the best concerts in recent memory.
my favourite bush song what a rock track, gavin rossdale what a rockfront man. the riff kicks ass, bush one of my childhood bands. easy one of the best rock bands to come from england. i am on this cloud i don't want to comedown from, it took me all this time to get there.
He wasnt much of a husband but his music is awesome & im glad she's found someone who will give her the same love she puts out & happiness with his own children!!
Bush. The 90s. When music meant something more than "I'm pretty. Look at me pretend to have talent". There were lyrics, strong arrangements, and most of all T.A.L.E.N.T. #justsaying
This song sounds like two people feel in love, but one of them fell out of it, and the other one is still pining after their lost and newly unrequited love.
my favourite bush song, so bad ass gavin rossdale wow what a rock frontman, the riff magic, bush one of my childhood bands, and one of the best rock bands to come from england. and use english still had the best ever rock bands, americans had loads of great ones too.

When I was 15 (last year) I was at a park with a few friends getting drunk at 2am. At one point I was hanging upside down on the jungle gym screaming the lyrics to this song. The cops came, and instead of calling our parents and giving us a ticket for disturbing the peace and underaged drinking, they let us off with a warning because they liked this song.
25yrs ago I was 25 and my friends woulda been doing the silly fun shit as young adults. Probably would still doing that same shit, however the ole knees are toast!!! You damn kids ugh ! LOL ! Have fun while you can. All 3 of my kids are older than you guys!!!! I still don't wanna grow up. Ask my wife.
I cannot understand why the fuck the 'Official' music video cut out the first 48 seconds of the song... just not the same without the initial buildup. :/
That phat groovy bass line, tight-ass, snare-snappin beat, fuzzy guitar doing some lazy notes, just finding his way... builds... builds... builds... then BAM! Even when it came out in the 90's different radio stations played two different versions. The 'pop music' stations played the short version, but the rock music stations played the full version.
I used to listen to this all the time when I was a kid and never knew what it was about. Havnt heard it in years. I'm about a month and a half off opiates and stumbled on this song in my feed. It makes sense now lol

This song represents how I hold on to happiness as long as I can. That feeling of bliss is so precious, until the depression kicks in.
Shay God I know... Right?
Shay it sucks but the key is to keep pulling yourself out of it. it always happens to me as well and then I move on
Shay actually it's about heroin..
It is about Heroin, it doesn't mean you can't find your own meaning in the lyrics though. In general though it's the same theme, Heroin boosts you to bliss than drops you hard to the ground very similar to the ups and downs of depression. Sad stuff

Why don't bands like Bush exist anymore?
+TheHilikus89 McMusicians are easier.
+Elu Arkham They would rather take the easy way instead of actually putting in the effort.

because mainstream propaganda killed ever good band that was around
Time and place. Pop music drowned real music.
Good bass, good vocals, slick guitar and just that 90's nostalgic coolness. Awesome song.

I wish people would quit saying today's music sucks and how much they miss good music. There's still good music out there. Dig around a little bit.
does anyone else love the way he says comedown at 4:45?There's just so much emotion in it. It's truly genius.
my favourite bush song for so many reasons.
R.i.p. to my friend Alex Ware. Youre probably jamming to this song from where ever you are at 😥😥😥 (Alex is not anyone from band BUSH.)

You've been watching too much "Fear" lol
To me it sounds like two people who are over but don't know how to end it... One of them is cheating, and doesn't want that feeling to end.
Its about heroin
Madison Simmons that’s why I like it because I’m going through what you just explained

I was thinking, this is the ultimate 90s grunge rock. Looked it up, yep 1995. Dead center of the phenomenon.
Nirvana grunge, Pearl jam Eddie Vetter trying to hard to be bono and u2 of grunge
I was singing this for days and had this stuck in my head and never knew who it was!

Heavy rock, reminded me of Ledzeplen and all the music from my teenage years. acid rock etc.

Excuse the typos. Read between the lines. Eyesight an these touch screen smarty pants devices. Think of me and the wifey as the pair in neighbors
That's a badass story ! Ahhhh, youth haha

Seen Bush open for Soundgarden in Memphis 10 days before Chris Cornell passed.Amazing concert.
Love everything about this song. Guitar in beginning is on point!!
I cannot understand why the fuck the 'Official' music video cut out the first 48 seconds of the song... just not the same without the initial buildup. :/
Mudder Fukker And The Comments?
Mudder Fukker ikr!!
This song have ones of my favorite bass line, and they cut it! : (
That phat groovy bass line, tight-ass, snare-snappin beat, fuzzy guitar doing some lazy notes, just finding his way... builds... builds... builds... then BAM! Even when it came out in the 90's different radio stations played two different versions. The 'pop music' stations played the short version, but the rock music stations played the full version.
Loove this song..also played my favorite movie fear...marky Marc. Is still hot
Yaaaaaas !
Time flys wow 2019 seems like yesterday
