I am so BLESSED to have made the trip to MEJDUGORJE with my Mama & Aunt. We went in Oct. 1987. My Mama & my self climbed both of the mountains by ourselves. Slowly we went step by step with many other people from around the world. When we saw the 2 mountains in the day light, we were totally mystified. What we had accomplished in the pitch dark, no words could express our emotions. I realized it was life, total unawareness of what the next day beholds. You just have to keep going & pray along the way. I had a camera that used film & had slides made. I have 3 pictures of the famous statue of OUR LADY in the church, when we all saw the 3 slides we saw OUR LADY AS A HUMAN. Looking at the pictures, you could see 2 poses of our lady's face. With each pose her hands moved in 2 different positions. Her dress was gorgeous. The gold trim of the edges looked like real material. It was not blurry, the whole picture was in focus, from the top of the crown drap to the bottom of her feet. Everyone who had seen the pictures which I had made from the slides, were too, could not believe it was a statue. The other 2 pictures were just as amazing & with more detailed faces. In 1 you can see Jesus' face ....I saw the sun turn into a human heart & move across the ski, as many others did. Our bodies turns & moved in the direction of the heart till it disappeared. I was so lucky to have seen so many miracles that others had not seen. Of course all the rosaries turned gold too. God had given me the strength to face what I had to come home to. A Vice President who turned into a drug addict, & hocking stuff out the house. I know in my heart I wouldn't have had the strength do, & go through with out the love & blessing from Our Lady & the Holy Father. . We also were allowed in the room where Our Lady would visit the children, at that time then, were grown up. A trip that saved & gave us life for what was to come to us later on in life.
